I first got to know Artkolor through Indian henna. It was a day. There wasn’t anything to do in the evening. Permit me to use henna to dye my hair; my hair begs for color and it’s time to update my roots anyhow. I kept seeing orange-green boxes with henna on the shelves of nearby stores, so when I first saw the classy red box, my hands automatically went to it.

This henna comes in a very classy box. It’s made in red, raspberry, and gold, which are my favorite color combinations. Sadly, the gold is merely printed and doesn’t shimmer, but I believe gilded embossing would look fantastic.

Consistency, color and aroma

What I liked right away was that the henna was a pleasant swamp-reddish shade and the finest grind.
I heard that the henna that is bought in stores can be sifted through a sieve, and then it will be on par with more expensive varieties. In this case, I did not have to deal with such dirty business. The henna powder repeated any spatial contours that came into contact with it, and this is wonderful!
To the touch, the powder is not dry, slightly damp, but this dampness is so elusive that it borders on softness and tenderness. The powder gives off a cool feeling despite its warm and spicy aroma. This is fresh, high-quality henna.

Preparation and application.

I have enough Hey powder (100g) for my length. I used to be terrified to dye my hair beyond the roots because I was worried about overdrying it, but eventually I got over my fear and started taking good care of my hair. The whole 100-gram bag was mixed by me. Regarding the amount of henna to be applied to the hair, how much to knead, stir, and how much to insist on from the hen, the color intensity, and how simple it is to remove the henna from the hair.

Warm but not boiling water was poured into non-metallic dishes. stirred with a spoon at first, and then a staining brush. Pigment was soon secreted by henna. However, the lumps did not disappear—not because the henna was of low quality; rather, it was of extremely high quality—because my hands were growing out of place. The persistent henna works for several hours to solve this kind of issue, after which the lumps themselves go away. The mixture proved to be quite mucosa and plastic in a clock, similar to hesna.

As soon as henna has cooled to a temperature comfortable for me, I began to apply. I apply a brush for staining by parting first on the right in front, smoothly moving to the back. Then the same on the left side. After that, I begin to layer the hair and henna strand by strand, forming a kind of turban on my head. The application was easy and pleasant: the brush glided over the hair, leaving behind a thick, non-rolling henna tray. The henna did not crumble, I think this is due to the quality of the henna and the correct mixing.
Afterwards, I insulate it with a bag and a woolen cap. This is done for several reasons: insulation, protection from drying (I do not like hard strands with dried henna\basma\any other grass on them) and protection from staining the objects around me

Rinse and general impressions.

This henna was easily removed from the length, but I had to deal with the roots.The finely ground material created a very slimy, plastic mass that made it difficult to remove from the roots. I refrained from getting a scrub or shampoo right away because it wasn’t the first time. This is in no way a drawback of the "Artcolor" henna. After that, I applied a balm to the ends just in case. Since then, they have the full program—in a bad way—during the heating phase.

After drying, the hair is smooth, dense, renewed. They say that "hair lacks dye", this also applies to henna hair, because.the herbs are still washed out, although in the future this ceases to affect the color. Visually, the density may not be visible, but to touch and feel – very much so. Henna dries? I can not give a definite answer to this question, t.with my current care it is hardly noticeable, but with the presence of powerful heating it is quite noticeable: electrification of hair not only after henna, creaking of the ends. In any case, these problems, both after dyeing with herbs, and a couple of weeks after that, are easily solved with antistatic sprays and moisturizing and nourishing care. And also with the presence of a humidifier at home, which I still have not gotten around to buying.

T.I have only 3-5 cm of non-basmanny hair, while about 7 mm are not dyed at all, so I will show the result of the dyeing on them. It so happened that I forgot to photograph the already colored roots by the mirror, so the photo is up to the mirror, and after that – a selfie
on the left, grown roots and washing off to the rot of bass, and on the right, after staining, the brilliance of ice purple, red roots, which go into the red shadow and a terrible scalp, is clearly visible. For me, this is enough to state the successful staining of this henna and what is to the length, then, depending on the lighting, it is either black or marsal. See for yourself.

When I move the spoon, I see one sand that is skidding rather than a smooth trace. It’s not the best, grind.

Preparation and application

This time I only needed to refresh the roots. With an eye on the imperfect technical characteristics and the awakened evil heating, I decided not to touch the length with henna until spring, although who knows me... I mixed half of the powder, which was later enough for the roots and still left – smeared it over 10 cm of the root zone.
Poured hot water and constantly stirred until the lumps went away. They didn"t go away, well, screw them, it"s not fatal. The pigment began to stand out almost immediately, but not as intensely as from Indian henna. The mass turned out to be quite plastic, despite the herbal particles that could be guessed in it and the obvious grainy texture, like basma.

The application was a welcome surprise, as these kinds of masses typically crumble and roll rather awkwardly. Although the henna did not lay down very thickly, nothing crumbled from me (oh, I’m talking gibberish; basma, not the henna, is the one who crumbles and rolls).

Washing off and general impressions.

Washing Iranian henna from my hair surprised me even more. This, as they say, is met by clothing, but escorted according to the mind+do not think stereotypes. So with this henna. In the box, a ugly one who behaves in a foul and stains like God!
HEN washed from the roots quite quickly, but not completely, stuck in the length. To the touch the roots … creaked like after a deep cleaning shampoo, but there was no dryness and itching. I certainly never had such sensations from the use of henna, there were impenetrable and unstable wilds, and not unrivaled smoothness! Although I am deceiving … this basma caused similar feelings, after which the hair is like waxed. If we talk about the coloring itself and its intensity, then it is at a height, although the color in the photo turned out to be more restrained. The skin and roots stained in copper, giving a good base for further staining the bassoma of the same manufacturer.
