“This is a failure” or funds that disappointed me

Everybody has experienced trying something new with their hair and discovering that the results aren’t quite what they had hoped for. Whether it’s a daring new hairstyle, a fashionable color, or a high-maintenance look, sometimes our best efforts yield less-than-ideal results. This article explores hairstyles that failed to live up to expectations and the possible reasons behind them.

We’ll look at some of the typical mistakes people make, from bad color jobs to hairstyles that didn’t fit our personal style. Not only should mistakes be pointed out, but also the reasons behind them should be understood so that similar mistakes are not made again. Everyone’s journey with hair is, after all, filled with trial and error.

You’re not the only one who has ever had a haircut or style go wrong. By talking about these experiences, we can all become more self-assured and make better hair decisions. So let’s explore the realm of hair accidents and discover what lessons can be drawn from them.

1. Evoluderm shampoo volume

Description provided by the manufacturer:

Shea butter-infused hair shampoo for thinning and damaged hair. helps to revitalize and restore the structure of the hair. produces an amazing volume without the need for weighting.

Although I received this shampoo much earlier, I have already discussed it in the beginning and end posts for Marathon 8. When I first opened the gift, I was pleased to see a lovely bottle of an unidentified French brand. But, I was not pleased at all with the shampoo when I used it. The consistency of this shampoo is its first drawback. The product is yellow and extremely liquid, and as you wash your hair, some of the shampoo keeps trying to spill out of your palm, making consumption extremely wasteful.

The shampoo also dries out your hair. When using Evoluderm shampoo, the same masks and conditioners act entirely differently than when using my other cleansing products. Your hair is washed to a squeak by the shampoo. Despite the fact that wet curls are easily untangled with your hands after washing, the hair becomes frizzy and appears dry and dull to the touch after drying. The shampoo’s ability to give your hair real volume may be its lone benefit. However, at that price, I don’t want the volume effect.

Alternative

As a volumizing shampoo, I can suggest Estel Curex Volume, a volumizing shampoo for dry and damaged hair.

Although the volume from it is not as noticeable, it is much softer, does not tangle hair at all, and does not dry. I’ve already used two bottles of this shampoo, and I had great experiences. I advise being mindful of.

2. Shampoo with tfal "no name"

You probably asked yourself, "What is this strange cloudy liquid?" when you first saw the shampoo bottle. And when I was perusing the hair product shelves in one of the neighborhood stores while on vacation in Tunisia, I had the exact same thought. FREATIONAL FLEASENTIONAL PACE. A cheap, thin plastic bottle with a fragile lid that opens partially after two uses and a label featuring an 80s woman whose hair was not spared by chemistry.

Why did I purchase it? Presumably as a result of her hair obsession. I was tempted to try the novel and exotic product because the sales consultant gave it such high praise. It is said to strengthen hair roots and leave hair soft, shiny, and restored. Home later, I learned that TFL is made of clay.

Tfal clay, also known as ghassoul, is a volcanic clay that has been used for centuries for body care, cosmetic procedures, and hygiene in the Arab West (the so-called "maghrib"). This clay is unique in that it contains a variety of microelements that both deeply cleanse the skin and kill a variety of harmful microorganisms (fungus, mold, etc.). p.). Products containing tfal clay are widely used in nations like Morocco, Tunisia, and Algeria. Examples of these products include shampoos, soaps, and various body and hair masks.

The chances that the shampoo will dry out are 9 out of 10. And so it turned out
In terms of consistency, this is a liquid shampoo, absolutely ordinary in everything except for the cloudy brown color. By the way, the product is almost odorless. It lathers very well, but washes too harshly. Compared to this shampoo, the deep cleansing one seems soft to me
After this product, my hair sticks out in all directions, it is dry and squeaky. I didn’t know what to do with this effect and what to put on my hair to return everything to its previous places. But, thank the Tunisian gods, after the next wash everything returned to normal.
I didn’t want to use it a second time and I put the old-fashioned bottle in a far drawer. Once again, sorting through my supplies, I noticed that the shampoo tends to delaminate…

I have no idea how this relates to anything. The product is weird overall, and I’m not even sure what to do with it now. It is, of course, my own fault. I purchased this shampoo without understanding the purpose of tfal or why it’s necessary. I’m not unhappy with the purchase, but perhaps someone who is traveling and wants to try exotic hair like me will find my experience helpful. Purchase it; it isn’t worth the money.

Alternative

Any kind of scalp scrub or peeling. In addition, it can remove pollutants from the skin and encourage hair growth by massaging the skin while the scrub is being applied. To prevent the length from drying out, you can also combine your favorite essential oils with a clay mask and apply oil or a hair mask to it.

3. Periche Personal Choco-in Intensif Mask – Intensive Mask HOT CHOCOLATE

A product with a chocolate color and scent that is far from having a chocolate effect will join the hit parade of my hair disasters. This is a mask made with Periche cocoa. To be honest, I can’t even remember why I bought it now. I may have chosen to add this jar to the online store’s basket because I was passionate about professional products, or perhaps I just read great reviews about the brand or this product in particular.

The mask smells like cocoa and chocolate (think mousse for washing hair that is chocolaty), and it comes in a 150 ml plastic jar. Although a lot of people are excited about it, I dislike the smells in question, and that is not even the point. The hand does not reach for this mask at all if mousse Chocolatte I endure that he washes his hair thoroughly and keeps all of the manufacturer’s promises. Despite the manufacturer’s description being incredibly tasty:

Rich reparative mask made from cocoa beans for damaged hair. Particularly important for long, dyed, curled, and dried hair. removes dry scalp and repairs damaged hair’s structural integrity. has a faintly tinted appearance. gives the hair strength, a healthy sheen, and ease of combing. possesses a subtle, lovely hot chocolate scent.

This brown cream substance is extremely thick inside the jar and isn’t just spread throughout the hair.

I made use of it twice. Initially as a brunette, and then with bleached hair. The result is the same; the head feels straw-like and is dry. I receive a respectable conditioning effect even from inexpensive masks, but if the product cannot do even this, it will obviously not become ingrained in my routine. Regretfully, the mask did not work for me, as the composition is excellent. includes my favorite proteins, aloe, cocoa butter, corn oil, and panthenol.

4. Dove dry shampoo

I have spent a long time trying in vain to solve the issue of rapidly greasy roots. To prolong the cleanliness, neither clay masks nor tonics are helpful, and I don’t want to purchase shampoos for oily hair because a lot of them end up drying out. Dry shampoo is therefore my saving grace when I suddenly have to go somewhere or don’t have time to wash my hair. Dove was one of the least successful in my collection. I recall standing there in the store and having to decide between this and the Essence shampoo Ultimate. She naturally selected a loser.

Dry shampoo is packaged in a beautiful white spray can, the design is very nice. The sprayer is like any aerosol, it works great, does not clog.
The properties of the dry shampoo itself left me perplexed. The product simply does not work. I have tried many dry shampoos, but this is the first time I have encountered this. When you spray it on the roots, they are covered with a barely noticeable white powder (in other shampoos the powder is more concentrated and the effect is accordingly noticeable). With Dove it is a complete disappointment, it does not create any appearance of fresh hair. Judging by the reviews in the Hairmaniac catalog, I am not the only one with this impression.

Alternative

I think that Batiste Fresh is the best dry shampoo. The fine white powder is sprayed on very gently, covering the hair roots. In addition, dry shampoo has a pleasant scent, adds volume, and, most importantly, works. Additionally, it can keep your hair clean for two days instead of just one. The cost is, in my opinion, the only drawback. I’m willing to spend money on leave-in conditioners or masks. However, because it is so inexpensive to use, the price is most likely justified.

The dry shampoo Syoss Anti-Grease was great, but it vanished from our stores and runs out far more quickly than Batista.

5. Londa spark up shine spray – Hair shine spray

Londa hair shine spray completes the list of the top 5 unsuccessful products. How much time has it been collecting dust in my supplies? Every now and then I pull it out, give it a try, and then put it back on the distant shelf.

Similar to dry shampoo, the spray comes in a lovely jar with an aerosol spray that works well. It feels good to apply to hair because the spray is soft and finely distributed.

It has a pleasant salon aroma. This product is not for care, but for styling, that is, it should simply give a beautiful appearance, add shine, this is the finishing touch in laying.
What in reality? I applied the spray at the end of styling after leave-in products. Despite the fact that my hair is very difficult to weighing or light after washing, it succeeds. After use, I get some kind of oily hair unpleasant to the touch. And I tried to apply the product in larger and in smaller quantities, the result is always the same. I have never noticed the promised shine for several uses. Recently decided to see the composition.

It is evident that alcohol (Alcohol Denat. If the product had to be used for heat-laying, then I would think this was justified. Consequently, this "handsome" will probably end up in the trash after writing the post. I came to the conclusion that purchasing such items is not worthwhile.

Product Why It Disappointed Me
Volumizing Shampoo Made my hair feel greasy instead of giving it volume
Heat Protectant Spray Left my hair sticky and heavy after use
Dry Shampoo Caused build-up and made my scalp itch
Leave-In Conditioner Weighed down my hair and made it look flat
