Updated Maraes lines
Maraes has now considerably increased the quantity of lines:
- Smoothing line for straight hair Liss Care
- Line for dull and damaged hair Renew Care
- Line for curly and wavy hair Curly Care
- Line for colored and chemically treated hair Color Care
The updated Maraes series even has its own app, you can download it by clicking on the QR code on the label of any product. In the app, you can only select English or Italian. I still did not understand why it was needed, since there is practically no benefit from it: a couple of lines of information about the tool, there are no compositions. The only useful thing on the site is the product catalog and PH of the products (not all). The prices in the app are not very good, I bought cheaper. You can also take a basic test of 3 questions in the app, which will select the right products for you at the end. But this can be easily done without the test.

My products
I hardly ever use a manufacturer’s entire product line. Typically, a manufacturer produces the shampoo, another the mask, and a third produces the leave-in products. I made the decision to try using items from a single series this time.
A brief statement regarding my hair:
- Straight
- Low-porosity
- Thin
- Uncolored and undamaged (except for the lower 10 cm)
- My scalp is closer to oily, I wash it every other day.
I purchased the shampoo, mask, and end serum from the line. I went with the Liss Care line for straight hair for myself.
I recently stated on this blog that I will no longer purchase large quantities of goods without first trying them. Okay. I decided that Maraes could not let me down because the store where I placed my order only carried large quantities.
1. Smoothing shampoo for straight hair Liss Care Shampoo
Description of the manufacturer
In order to encourage the proper hydration of the scalp and hair, the formula without additional sodium salts gently cleanses them. The structure of hair is strengthened by biotin and panthenol, while hair fibers are nourished and restored by monoi oil. Hair gets pliable and easier to handle. Fit for vegans.
Active ingredients:
Does not contain mineral oils, silicone, parabens, sodium salts, sodium lauryl sulfate (SLS), or sodium lauryl ether sulfate (SLES). A vitamin B5 derivative is pantenol. gives hair structure and strength, encouraging shaft smoothing and hydration, resulting in strong, glossy hair. Hair becomes shinier, healthier, and more resilient when biotin repairs and strengthens the cuticle.
Application:
Throughout the length of the hair, distribute equally. Make a lather by massaging the area. Thoroughly rinse under running water. If required, repeat. It is advised to employ an integrated strategy in order to get a more beneficial outcome.
My impressions
I thought Maraes’ updated design was nice; it’s simple yet elegant. The label is made of paper, and everything is good so far.) The shampoo bottle has an easy-to-use, premium dispenser that delivers a moderate amount of shampoo. The shampoo has a gel-like consistency and is thick.
When I first used it, the wonderful scent was the first thing I noticed! And without a doubt, this is Kaaral. It smells like a stylish perfume and is moderately rich. It brought back memories of an Estee Lauder perfume I used to own.
Perfect foaming occurs even with the first soaping of the shampoo. To wash, simply give the dispenser two full presses. When I used it for the first time, there was no hardness or squeak along the whole length. The shampoo cleans well, is gentle on hair, and is gentle.
The picture was taken the following morning, after I had washed my hair in the evening. I was worried that the shampoo would slick the hair or affect how frequently the hair was washed, but this did not happen. Instead, as much as possible, even a tiny root volume showed up in my thin hair. Unexpectedly enjoyable outcome.)
A different day later, the roots are still oily as usual. There is no irritation, drying out, or itching from the shampoo, nor does it cause the hair to become quickly contaminated. It doesn’t get heavy or accumulate with continuous use. I’m overjoyed that this shampoo works!
2. Smoothing mask for straight hair Liss Care Mask
Description of the manufacturer
Straight hair smoothing mask The Liss Care Mask helps to detangle and discipline hair, which facilitates styling and combing. smooths hair and aids in cuticle closure. Fit for vegans.
Active ingredients:
Panthenol: A derivative of vitamin B5. gives hair structure and strength, encouraging hydration and smoothing of the hair shaft to create shiny, strong, and smooth hair. Smoother, healthier, and more resilient hair results from biotin’s strengthening of the hair shaft and restoration of the cuticle. Fit for vegans. Mineral oils and parabens are not present.
Application:
My impressions
Additionally, I went with the straight hair mask from the line.
The shampoo and label share the same design. Like other Kaaral masks, it has a protective film on it. As is my custom, I assumed that the film would be impossible to remove. However, I was in for a pleasant surprise when it all comes off! shocking details
Another delightful surprise upon taking off the film was the mask’s delightful scent. It’s much richer than shampoo, though. It seems that Kaaral listened to the customers’ cries and made an effort to meet them halfway.
The mask is white in color. Though not as buttery as the previous version, the consistency is still thick. It is a thick cream-like substance that is much softer and more flexible, easier to apply to the hair, nourishing, and oily. Although the mask consumes less, I felt that it did so more than the previous iteration.
The aroma of the mask spreads throughout the bathroom, I want to inhale it and inhale it. I keep the mask on my hair for 10-15 minutes. The previous version of the mask had to be washed off very thoroughly, otherwise you could get hair on the verge of overfeeding. Remembering this, I washed the mask off my hair for a very long time and carefully. They did not become smooth like algae, but it feels like they have been cared for. As if there was a small oil film. An incomprehensible feeling as if I did not wash off the oil mask well. I was afraid of getting weighted strands, but in vain.
I hardly notice the scent on my hair after it has been washed off. I think this smells the best out of all my masks, and almost all of them are from Kaaral, according to my boyfriend.
After the previous mask, you had to use leave-in products carefully because overdoing it could result in overfeeding. I mostly just used oil and spray. I followed this procedure the first time I used the new mask (I started applying cream later; there were no indications of overfeeding). It took my hair a long time—two to three hours—to dry naturally. They usually dry much more quickly.
My hair dried with a very soft, yet strong hold, and a slightly stolen volume down the length. They are incredibly straight and smooth. No frizz and no protrusions along the length. The ends are soft and alive, and they lie beautifully. The mask gave me intense hydration, and upon closer inspection, I saw that panthenol and glycerin are indeed included in its composition. However, there is also a small amount of density that is not rigid. Hair is hydrated, lustrous, and cool; the mask actually smoothes and straightens hair without making it slick.
I don’t think conditioner is necessary for this mask because the hair already has plenty of it. The following day, the ends are still as supple, hydrated, and elastic.
Comparison of the old and new versions of the mask
I can compare the two mask versions because I currently have them both with me. Since Maraes now has three masks instead of the previous one, I’m not sure how accurate this comparison will be, but I’ll still try.
I find the new version to be visually much more appealing; it seems sleek and contemporary.
The updated mask is also more advantageous in terms of cost. 200 ml.was previously sold for the same price as 500 ml. Additionally, the 1000 ml capacity of the new version is less expensive than the previous version.
Inhale. The smell of makeup in general and Kaaral in particular don’t bother me much, but the old Maraes mask smelled awful. Many people who left reviews said it was enjoyable. The mask smelled, to me, like some sort of Soviet-era cream, like baby cream. I associate myself with bygone eras. In addition, it was extremely potent; I could still feel it on my dry hair after two days. The scent is much more pleasant now and has been associated with high-end perfume. I even like it, even though it stays on the hair for a long time.)
There is also a difference in the masks’ consistency. Because the previous version was thicker, it was harder to apply evenly throughout the hair. However, because of its thickness, it consumes far less and never ends!
I liked the new version of the mask more in use. It is easier with it, you don’t need to tame it and dance with a tambourine. Apply – wash off, and that’s it – a gorgeous result. I had to find an approach to the old version. Several times after it my hair was on the verge of overfeeding, although in principle it is not typical for them. I tried keeping the mask for different times, covering it with air conditioners, using it with an ampoule. The most ideal option for me is to close the Kaaral Restructure ampoule on top with a Maraes mask. Then the hair turns out perfect. In other cases, the result is not so magical.
Picture taken right after the ampoule and mask combination.
Additionally, the mask’s composition has altered. Although I’m not very good at reading the compositions, I really like how hydrated it feels. If there was no conditioning on the mask earlier, it is present now. Density is provided by both masks, but it differs. I have a lot of thin hair, but they’re thicker, was the impression left by the previous iteration of the mask. The new one has shine, a slightly concealed hair volume, and improves smoothness and hydration.
I switched out the old mask for other products and didn’t use it very often. I repeatedly applied the new mask and did not observe any decline in the hair’s quality or the effect’s deterioration.
3. Shine serum for colored and chemically treated hair Color Care
Unfortunately, the straight hair series serum I wanted to purchase was not available for purchase on the online store where I placed my order. "My ends have been chemically treated and dyed," I reasoned as I tossed this serum into the basket.
Description of the manufacturer:
Concentrate of priceless oils guarantees cuticle sealing, extending color brightness and durability. makes hair gleam. Fit for vegans.
Composition
Dimethiconol, Dimethicone, Cyclopentasiloxane, Dimethicone, Alcohol Denat, Gardenia Taitensis Flower Extract, Macadamia Ternifolia Seed Oil, Cocos Nucifera Oil (Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Oil), Helianthus Annuus Seed Oil (Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil), Parfum (Fragrance)*, Ethylhexyl Methoxycinnamate, Butyl Methoxydibenzoylmethane, Tocopherol *D-limonene, Alpha-isomethyl Ionone, Linalool, Hexyl Cinnamal, Citronellol.
Active ingredients
Macadamia nut oil: Preserves hair and extends the life of color. It nourishes chemically treated hair and regenerates the cuticle without adding weight because of its softening qualities. One of the most well-known and successful natural treatments for shielding chemically treated hair is flaxseed oil. fights split ends, seals the cuticle, adds shine, strengthens the structure, and repairs and restores hair.
Application:
Before blow-drying, evenly distribute the serum throughout the length of your clean, damp hair, or just part of it if necessary. It is advised to employ an integrated strategy in order to get a more beneficial outcome.
My impressions
The serum is put into a thick glass vial. It features an easy-to-use dispenser that gives off a tiny amount of oil.
This line smells different—it’ssubtle, pleasant, and light. doesn’t remain in the hair for very long. When I used it for the first time, I noticed an alcohol-like smell. However, after a few uses, I stopped feeling it.
The serum has an extremely viscous, thick, and oily consistency.
I adore oils for the ends because of their slightly heavier texture. It absorbs quickly, spreads easily, and doesn’t weigh down damp hair. Instantly, hair gets softer and is easier to comb when wet. The following day, when I tried to apply a little oil to my dry ends, I noticed a slight overdrying and weighting. I’ve come to the conclusion that I should only apply it to damp hair.
It’s highly unlikely that the oil will work on thin, low-porosity, natural hair. But thick hair that is colored and damaged ought to like it.
