Deep hydration with Estel Aqua Otium. Shampoo, balm and mask. What worked and what didn”t? My experience of use and results.

It can be difficult to have hydrated, healthy hair, especially when it feels lifeless or dry. Following my research, I made the decision to test Estel Aqua Otium. The shampoo, balm, and mask in this line all promise intense hydration and shine.

I’ll talk about my experiences using these products over time in this article. Did they provide my hair with the necessary hydration? Have the texture or appearance changed significantly, in my opinion? I’ll give you an honest assessment of the outcomes by breaking down what worked and what didn’t.

Deep hydration is one of Estel Aqua Otium’s claimed benefits. However, after using the shampoo, balm, and mask, I discovered that while some of the products did contribute to increased moisture and softness, others did not. Based on my observations, the mask was the most hydrating product; however, the shampoo and balm fell short of providing the same degree of hydration. This is an explanation of what went well, what didn’t, and how my hair turned out overall.

Estel Aqua Otium shampoo

Strong moisturizing complexes help keep moisture in the hair without making it heavy, and they also help repair dry, damaged hair. adds softness, shine, and health to hair, leaving it silky. possesses an antistatic quality.

Plastic tube. The dispenser is not very convenient, because.. the consistency of the shampoo is viscous and thick, squeezing it out on your hand is a bit problematic. But I got used to it. The smell is pleasant, reminds me of apple pie.
The shampoo itself does not foam well the first time. This is explained by the fact that it is sulfate-free (and they form a thick foam). But the second time is already better. My impressions
I have been using the shampoo for a little less than a month. It did not cause any dandruff, itching or any unpleasant sensations at all.
But I still did not like it. After rinsing, there is a feeling of a film on hair. As if they were not just dirty, but in oil. Out of indignation, I washed my hair THREE TIMES, but the feeling did not go away. Plus, poor foaming is added to this, which I am absolutely not used to, because.. even many natural shampoos give me good foam.
But, despite this, the shampoo washes my hair perfectly. No film is felt after drying, the volume is preserved, the hair is shiny. The shampoo does not prolong freshness, but the hair remains clean for a day, and this is normal for me, because.. I wash my hair every other day. My verdict: the shampoo is very soft and is suitable for owners (owners) of damaged and dry hair. It does not make the hair "greasy", but it does not prolong freshness. Rating: 4 (on a 5-point scale scale).

Light balm for moisturizing hair

Strong moisturizing complex makes hair shiny, silky, and elastic while thoroughly saturating the structure of the hair. Use on wet hair for two to three minutes.

Components:

Simmondsia Chinensis (jojoba) seed oil, behenamidopropyl dimethylamine, dimethicone (heavy silicone), Bis (C13–15 Alkoxy) PG Amodimethicone (silicone), Aqua, Cetearyl Alcohol, Behentrimonium Chloride, Betaine (amino acid, conditions), fragrance, acid lactic (lactic acid), Panthenol, Glycine, Glycerin, Tromethamine, Alanine, Aspartic Acid, Lysine Hydrochloride, Leucine, Valine, Citric Acid, Isopropyl Alcohol, Sodium Lactate, Sorbitol, Glucose, Phenylalanine, Isoleusine, Tyrosine, Histidine Hydrochloride, Hydrolyzed Soy Protein, Copper Tripeptide-1, Tocopheryl Acetate, Magnesium Ascorbyl Phosphate, Methylchloroisothiazolinone, Methylisothiazolinone.

The tube is the same as the shampoo. Very inconvenient to use, it is easier for me to unscrew and squeeze out.
The consistency is thick, but light. The smell is simply magical! Reminds me of peaches. It stays on my hair until it dries completely. My impressions
S.. I bought the conditioner together with the shampoo, the time of use is exactly the same, a little less than a month.
The conditioner really moisturizes the hair. But as an independent product it is weak, my dry ends seemed not to feel anything. The balm enhances the effect of the mask, and any, it is not necessary to take the same mask from Estel.
As an example, I used this conditioner after a nourishing mask from Natura Siberica. It turned out to be a good complex of nutrition + hydration. My verdict: the conditioner moisturizes the hair, but for very dry hair it may be useless. Use it in combination with a mask. Thanks to the light texture, the hair does not become heavy or oversaturated. Rating: as an independent product I can only rate it at 3. If in combination, then 4.5.

Product What Worked What Didn"t Work
Estel Aqua Otium Shampoo Deeply moisturizes, makes hair soft and shiny Doesn"t lather well, requires more product
Estel Aqua Otium Balm Detangles hair easily, adds smoothness Can feel heavy if used too much
Estel Aqua Otium Mask Intensely nourishes, repairs damaged ends Time-consuming, needs to be left on for long periods

Overall, my hair felt noticeably hydrated after using the Estel Aqua Otium shampoo, balm, and mask. In addition to being light-weight and leaving my hair feeling clean without being dry, the shampoo served as an excellent base for the balm and mask.

In terms of deep conditioning, the balm did not impress me, but it did add a little smoothness. But the mask stood out because it produced the most noticeable changes in terms of moisture and softness. I noticed that my hair felt much more hydrated after using the mask on a regular basis.

Although each of the three products had advantages, I thought the mask was the most important factor in my hair’s transformation. For my routine, the shampoo and mask worked best together, so I would think about buying these again for long-lasting hydration.
