A little botany:

Bhringraj is a creeping plant with a very developed root, grayish, cylindrical in shape. The stem is short, the leaves are pointed, lance-shaped. The flowers are white, reminiscent of chamomile flowers, hence the name – "false chamomile". There are two more types of bhringraj, with yellow and blue flowers. They are called "blue bhringraj" and "yellow bhringraj" (widelia calendulacea, yellow bhangra), but mainly white bhringraj is used.
The word "bringraj" literally translates as "king of bees". In India, it is also called "king of hair".
Bhringraj usually grows in damp places around the world as a weed. It is widespread throughout India, China, Thailand, Brazil.
This miracle plant has many magical qualities that are not associated with it, such as curing liver cirrhosis, halting bleeding, revitalizing the body, bolstering the nervous system, and effectively treating headaches. Additionally, a single application will cure skin conditions! Rejuvenating apples with no other origin than India.
Oil:

By chance, a friend told me about bhringraj oil. She complimented her hair’s condition and the amazing massage she had received with the enigmatic aromatic oil. Naturally, I had to have it immediately, so I didn’t let a few negative reviews deter me from purchasing. Curiosity in women is a terrible thing! Upon perusing several Indian stores, I eventually acquired the cherished jar.
It appears to be quite basic: plastic, a removable snap-off lid that you can unscrew if desired, and a few stickers that have already come off for me.
The oil itself is liquid and easy to apply to both damp and dry hair. It is an emerald green color, reminiscent of absinthe. Aromatic… The aroma of Indian stores, where herbs and spices are sold, is pungent. When you close your eyes, you can almost hear the sitar strings lightly strumming. Take umbrellas; it only stays on wet hair and goes away when it dries completely, even though I personally enjoy the scent. They claim that massaging with this oil can treat insomnia and migraines. Regarding the first one, I am at a loss for words, but it does help you sleep better.

Naturally, treating insomnia is fantastic. However, what miraculous effect can oil have on hair? And this is some fascinating data I found out:
"The telogen phase is the period during which the hair follicle is at rest. The hair follicle starts growing again when it enters the anagen phase. The journal Ethnopharmacology published encouraging news in July 2009, stating that bhringraj could induce the anagen phase in 87.5% of mice. Minoxidil and Eclipta alba were also contrasted. While bhringraj increased from 19 to 66, the medication increased hair follicles on average from 43 to 73!

Sounds like a phrase from some science fiction book… Especially if you remember that the oil promises to "rejuvenate" the hair, regenerate its structure, fight split ends, strengthen, eliminate hair loss, etc.
When I did the oil course, I didn"t measure the hair growth in any way, it just seemed to me that they started growing a little faster. But… you can roughly see from the photos
(on the left, early June; on the right, somewhere in the middle/end of August; my hair grows VERY slowly, less than 1 cm per month)
In the summer, as a rule, I don"t take any vitamins or dietary supplements, so I can say that all the growth is due to the oil
