To enjoy the benefits of the success of cosmetic giants, we common people don’t need to know their past; however, just to be thorough, we will go a little bit further.

History of the Lebel company:

It all began in 1921, when Mr. Yoshikawa from Osaka went bankrupt, and he decided to give the failing company under the complete control of his 22-year-old son Hidenobu. Together with his employees, he completely changed and developed a new direction of the company"s work. And after several years of painstaking work, the TAKARA BELMONT corporation became one of the most famous Japanese manufacturers of equipment for hairdressing salons. Later, the scope of activity was expanded due to the production of furniture for cosmetology rooms and medical centers. In 1977, the management decided to offer stylists their own line of professional luxury hair products. The LebeL company has been a trendsetter in Japan for several decades, and recently on the world market.

The label has created numerous successful products over the course of its existence, first on the Japanese market and subsequently on the global one. These products fall into eight main categories:

• Proedit home;
• IAU Infinity Aurum;
• Proscenia;
• Viege;
• ESTESSiMO CELCERT;
• Natural hair soap& treatment;
• Cool orange;
• Trie.

Each of them has incredibly good products, some of which our girls have written about time and time again (like the site legend, the Viege mask). Today, we will discuss the Forti and Sleek essences, two items from the IAU line.

Lebel Forti Essence

Let’s first look at the promises made by the manufacturer and how to use the essence.

• Gives hair elasticity, silkiness, density and shine;
• Protects hair from aggressive environmental factors and UV rays;
• Prevents static formation;
• Prevents absorption of unpleasant external odors.

How to use: Using two pumps of the dispenser for medium-length hair, evenly distribute the essence throughout the entire length of damp hair, starting at the ends. Continue styling. Apply a tiny amount of the product (one pump) to hair that has already dried to add extra shine.

Appearance of the bottle

Put simply, stylish. The bottles have a really nice appearance in my opinion; the contrast between black and red always pops against other backgrounds.

The bottle is glossy, fully opaque (so you can’t see how much product is left), and composed of high-quality, long-lasting red plastic. The shape is made to resemble a rectangle with "cut edges," not just a rectangular shape. For those who simply enjoy beauty and geometry —

With a gentle click, the sleek black cap effortlessly opens and closes, extending the bottle’s functionality. The bottle is very easily soiled; fingerprints stick on it after each use, despite its lovely appearance.

When I press the black spout, a single portion of the product comes out, enough to cover half of my hair. The amount of essence dispensed can be adjusted downward based on the pressure.

Technical characteristics of the product

The essence is whitish in color, gel-like, and neither liquid nor thick nor greasy. It goes very smoothly on the hands and then the hair.

I should also talk about the scent separately. Every product in the line has the same delicate, unobtrusive, flowery perfume. It’s also quite lovely! Once the products are applied, you should take a whiff of your hair. And out of all the smells I have ever detected coming from my hair, this one is by far the most pleasant.

About use + my opinion

Let’s go back to the application and distribution of the product on the hair, which can be completed quickly and effortlessly. It’s also easy to decide how much essence to apply at a time; begin with as much as you believe won’t cause your hair to turn into icicles, then work your way down.

With Fortu, it’s hard to go overboard (within reason, of course). The hair feels so hydrated and "slippery" to the touch that I am ready to repeatedly declare my love for Lebel. This leave-in seems to envelop each hair, giving it protection.

Applying the essence first layer to wet hair requires gently squeezing it with a towel. The greatest impact will be attained in this manner.

The first layer of Label’s trio (or, in my case, duet) of leave-in products is Forti essence. Since it penetrates the hair and is thought to have the most penetrating qualities of all of them, applying it first makes sense. I tried this method, which called for Moist Essence as the second layer, but it didn’t work well for me and I didn’t see the purpose.

Forti made me incredibly happy! All the leave-in products I had the pleasure of using previously were eclipsed by this one. No, that’s not it; they are just completely incomparable! And simultaneously with Slick oil, the essence overcame me, shooting a love arrow right through my heart.

Lebel Sleek oil

Similar to how they describe the first product, the manufacturer makes a lot of promises.

• Removes fluffiness and smoothes the external structure of the hair;
• Keeps hair young, prevents thinning of the structure;
• Restores the hydrolipid balance;
• Gives hair a glossy shine;
• Envelops the hair, making combing and styling easier;
• Protects from aggressive environmental and thermal effects, as well as from UV rays;
• Prevents the absorption of unpleasant external odors;
• Has SPF 30.

How to apply: Starting at the ends and working your way down the entire length of the hair, evenly distribute the essence (2 pumps of the dispenser for medium-length hair). Now let’s get stylistic. Apply a small amount of product (one pump) to your already-dried hair to add extra shine.

Bottle appearance

With one exception—its transparent bottle—it is basically the same as its brother Forti. This option is the most user-friendly, in my opinion, as you can always find out how much product is left. The product portion distributed by the dispenser is the same as it was in the first instance. This is a drawback for me because, generally speaking, I don’t need that much oil (especially when applying it to dry hair).

Technical characteristics of the product

Although not thick, the oil is greasy and slippery in the best way possible. It feels immediately enveloping when applied to the palm.

In my description of Forti above, I mentioned that you should choose a dosage by going in the opposite direction. This trick won’t work with oil because you run the risk of over-oiling your hair. Instead, we follow the standard protocol, which is to use less product at first and increase it gradually.

The last stage of multi-layered care in IAU is oil. Applying oil initially (or as a second step, if you also use Moist essence) will prevent the necessary nutrients from penetrating the hair.

About use + my opinion

I have grown accustomed to using the dispenser even though it spits out more product than I need: I press the spout with less force than necessary, and the dispenser dispenses precisely half as much oil. I find that this is the right amount to apply to damp hair.

Applying oil to dry hair can add gloss, shine, and softness, even though it may seem like you’re using a lot more. You must gently press down on the dispenser to ensure that the product is homeopathic; if you use more, your hair will probably end up glued greasy, but it will still look smooth and soft.

I continued to get just as much pleasure from the oil as from the essence. Label pierced my wounded Essence heart with the second arrow.

The hair appears healthy even at the ends! Together, oil and essence hide split ends and soften them (yes, yes! The pictures below were all shot on a cloudy, overcast day without any sunlight.

A tandem of products for maximum effect

As previously mentioned, the brand’s technologists recommend using products in the following order for damaged hair:

Moist >>> Sleek >>> Forti

And I agree with them—using a series of products like that essentially coats your hair in armor that is hard to get through.

The products, both separately and together, have heat-protective properties, which is why they were originally purchased. And in this regard, they are unsurpassed excellent students: they protect hair at all And if after straightening hair with some non-protective products, the hair was dry, sticking out, even a little prickly, then with Label products everything is different: The hair is as happy! They are soft, flowing and resemble silk (who would have thought that this could be with my hair!) The iron maximally revealed the potential of the tandem. Although the effect is no worse when straightening hair with a hair dryer and brushing, the hair also looks beautiful and tactilely soft.

The hair in the gif is brushed out and dried with hot air. They have a slight fluffy quality, but they are also airy, crumbly, and vibrant. There was no direct sunlight on the cloudy day the gif was taken.

Lebel Moist: yes, that happened

I did not purchase a full size of the Moist essence, even though I had agreed with the Lebel technologists in the previous paragraph. Why?

There are several explanations for this:

1. Moist has a disgusting, in my opinion, consistency, which is difficult to distribute even on the palms, let alone hair. A pleasant milk in the bottle when distributing a palm turns into some kind of viscous cream; You rub – and the palms are slipped;
2. I did not notice a pronounced effect compared to Forti. I know that it may work for the long term and restoration of structure, but I did not want to spend money on a product whose results are not visible to me;
3. When applied in three layers, my hair became a little heavier. I did not even have to choose between the two essences, everything was so obvious.

What leave-in products to combine with?

I discovered that using this oil and essence would not be possible without a mask or conditioner during the course of using these leave-in products.

In a matter of seconds, this combination can "pull out" a fairly mediocre leave-in product and completely change your hair. However, ladies, if you use it on your hair after a nice mask, the effect will multiply several times! Even my hair, which I have been using high-temperature irons and ammonia dyes to test for durability for years, looks just as good as healthy, natural hair after using the products (and the iron, of course).

In an emergency, I believe you can wash your hair with just shampoo and apply this leave-in treatment to damp hair if you don’t have time to apply a mask or if it suddenly runs out (though we all know that nothing ever does). Not only won’t your hair fall out, but it will also appear fairly respectable.
