Let me remind you of the history of hair
I grew out my color in the summer of 2020, then looked at my own henna photos, freaked out and painted everything over with henna again. A couple of years later, there were attempts to gently lighten the hair with Kaaral oil. But in the spring, psychosis again and a breakdown on henna. In the summer, a complete blast and only one thought "I want my color!", and since I only buy henna of good quality and for mahendi (I really love red tints), it is not possible to wash it off with GOSH \ oil \ kefir. Especially if you have low-porosity hair. I first painted everything with one dye, then took an ashier one, but the result again did not last very long. In the winter, I tried to fill everything with basma, so that at least the brightness from the henna would go away, but then I took a cheap basma and the result was not long-lasting (basma is generally a capricious lady). To sum up, if I had not broken down the first time on henna after I grew my beautiful color, I would not have had to do a bob twice and now my hair would be to the waist (I dreamed about this for my 35th birthday, but what do we have. ).
Even though I’m upset about the sudden change from my natural roots to the henna length, I’m not cutting my bob. But I’m brittle! The contrast of the shades irritates me. If my reading of the instructions is accurate, you should aim for a gentle transition from hain to your own mixture. Instead of staining the roots, add colorless herbs gradually. And then I abruptly stopped painting, making this choppy transition.
Preparation for tinting
This time, Alina suggested that I take a balm in the shade of ash-frog to cover up the redhead for aesthetic satisfaction. She had long given me advice. I have no idea what I damaged. :)).
I previously used the same Karalovsky oil to lighten my hair. Applied solely to length, it endured for nearly an hour (the directions state that it should take no more than 20 minutes). She received even more in due course because the lower Gulka was an experimental area (if the basma’s greens would show through, otherwise they could). Not at all.
Naturally, I overdid the drying process, but I did not get very light hair. It is true that the milk’s manufacturer claims that the product has lightened by two to three tones; this may be the result. And Vieso’s preferred, appropriate care brought the quality back (in the picture below, inappropriate care).
Tinting
The balm itself is in a convenient plastic jar with an excellent spout (just turn it and it closes)!). Squeezed out is a good portion of the product. Applying beautifully, it also distributes. also rinses off. All in all, everything seems well about it; in general, it’s a direct pigment that has nearly the same nurturing qualities as anthocyanin.
Initial thoughts on the balm:
- does not spoil the quality of hair,
- dyes in a beautiful tone,
- convenient packaging,
- good application.
How I initially made use of it:
- washed my hair with shampoo,
- wiped it with a towel,
- applied the balm, standing over the bathtub, where I could reach, right with my hands in gloves,
- kept the bun for 15 minutes,
- washed off with water until it was not transparent,
- did not apply leave-in products.
My hair’s lower third developed uneven coloring as a result. Well, there’s no need to worry. However, because of the collagen in the composition, hair without leave-in products or masks looks incredibly cool, and straight pigments generally love to take care of hair like this).
Of course, my soul could not stand it and the next day I painted everything again)), only this time with a super lazy method – I divided my hair into two parts, applied the composition directly to dry hair with great difficulty with my hands (in gloves), waited for 25 minutes, washed it off. I used Vieso shampoo with rose on the roots, and applied only leave-in product to the length. A beautiful dark color came out (there is no sun today, it would probably be even more beautiful). Of course, bald spots are visible, but I am more than satisfied with the color! Any dye is difficult to apply to dry hair. Don"t do that .
We’ll now see how long the color persists.
How does it wash off
It is no longer as dark in the sun after the first wash, but the red is still stunning and rich. Of course, the shift to natural roots is apparent, but it’s not as noticeable as it once was. In addition, there is a handwriting problem. Apply correctly, brush by brush, strand by strand! You’ll also be content))).
After nearly a week of daily washings, the water is still brown (by the sixth wash, it is nearly transparent), the color fades smoothly without sharp edges, and the hair is extremely thick.
And in the absence of direct sunlight, the color appears as follows. More attention is drawn to the dark shade. The balm has an unbelievable sheen. I easily lasted six washes, and although Alina claimed to touch up every fourth, I believe it will wash off normally even further. For the first time, I love the color exactly! Nearly ideal correspondence with nature)))).
