My hair type
- Severely damaged: split ends, brittleness – what I live with and constantly fight
- Porous from the roots (50% gray hair)

I really liked the Therapiste line, so I wanted to share my joy with you today. There are drawbacks as usual, but let’s start with the positives.
Resistance Kerastase and individual series within the line. The main differences of each series
A sizable component of the L’Oreal brand, Resistance is a line of hair-strengthening and hair-repairing products.
This time, the company offered up to four lines in this series to address all varieties of damaged hair:
- Force Architecte
- Extentioniste
- Volumifique (a controversial line, someone includes it in the Resistance, some don"t. Off. The site constantly changes its opinion from one to another. I believe that it should still be included in the common line due to restoration properties, so I will mention it)
- Therapiste
Every one of them is unique! They are composed of various parts and oriented differently. These rulers are all the same when it comes to hair strengthening.
Taking the French word "Resistance" to mean resistance, strength, and endurance.
In order to ensure that you do not miss anything if you choose to try this series as well, I have researched a great deal to determine which Resistance I need. I will attempt to clarify the differences in my own words below.
The lines below are arranged from lightest to strongest in ascending order by me.
Volumifique
As implied by the name, this series is intended for loudness. doesn’t even slightly weigh down hair. I didn’t think about it since I thought it was the lightest, designed more for naturally occurring hair that was only harmed by mechanical forces. In other words, I thought the line was weak for my damaged and porous hair. I am aware that the lightness and obedience that hair acquires with use is a big selling point for many people.

Extentioniste
It might be referred to as novel. It was released sometime in 2018. (If my memory recalls correctly). Furthermore, this is the most enigmatic series. In order to maintain and grow length, marketers emphasize the key feature of "increasing hair strength during its growth." I get this, and to put it in plain English, these are products that fight brittleness without being heavy.
These products are compared to strength training on the official website, meaning they promise to "pump up" hair.
Among the products made by Kerastase, Creatine R is a novel complex that includes creatine, an amino acid essential to the process of rebuilding the structure of the hair, and ceramide, which is needed to repair damage to the hair’s surface.
The range also includes taurine, an amino acid that shields hair from external aggressors and damage (thermal protection), and maleic acid, which penetrates the hair structure to strengthen it and seal the cuticle (forms a protective layer from roots to tips).
Consists of five items:
- Shampoo
- Milk – rinse-off care
- Mask – deeper rinse-off care
- Thermal protection. Leave-in care
- Scalp serum (stimulation and strengthening of roots). They stopped importing it to the Russian Federation, perhaps it has been discontinued. The official French website has.
The line, in my opinion, is appropriate for damaged hair with a low to medium porosity. Maybe bleached, but not bleached. great for hair that is thin. seldom causes trouble. Any length will do. I tried the mask and shampoo as well as purchasing thermal protection three times from this series. I’ve written about thermal protection before; it’s amazing, but my hair was not given enough attention by the shampoo and mask, which resulted in "light" weak hair.
Force Architecte
And the oldest and most well-liked series is this one. In actuality, Volumific and it were once part of the same "green line of Resistance." And the majority of reviews are about it. It is justifiably extremely well-liked. I was deciding between Force Architect and Therapiste when I also had my eye on it.

Therapiste
The least well-liked Resistance of all. which is wholly undeserved, in my opinion. The items are fire, and I’ll explain why these jars left such a lasting impression on me below.

These products are already SOS for split, brittle, and severely damaged hair. The manufacturer indicates a 3–4 degree of damage.
Damage of 1-2 degrees or less. Mechanical impact damage includes comb-overs, friction, and hairstyles. Ideal for hair that is fine. 3–4 levels of severe damage to the hair. Such hair frequently comes into contact with heat, pressure, and chemicals. ideal for thick and normal hair.
It’s actually evident from this grading why I selected Therapist over Force Architect. My hair is frequently dyed with permanent dye, and it is also constantly dried with a hair dryer. I won’t discuss mechanical damage because it happens to everyone.
This composition is the richest available for repairing damaged hair, both in terms of patented molecules and good-quality ingredients.
