Having beautiful hair is something that many of us desire. Although genetics has a significant influence, it is not the only one. You can take full advantage of your natural hair type and have gorgeous, healthy hair all year long with the right hair care regimen.
The secret is to recognize that the needs of your hair vary with the seasons. What your hair needs in the winter will be different from what it needs in the summer. You can maintain your hair’s best appearance throughout the year by changing up your products and techniques.
I’m thrilled to share my method since I’ve created a system that works for me. I’ll take you through the steps that can actually improve your hair, from choosing the right products to making seasonal adjustments.

High-quality scalp cleansing
For cleansing the scalp, I have a good product from the Russian brand Organic Kitchen. This is a universal soft peeling for any part of the body. For a long time, I used it on the body, but when all similar products for the scalp ran out, I decided to use it. Large volume and low cost make it a superhero. For me, this is a soft product, so I use it once every two weeks at night – I apply it generously along the partings to the scalp, massage and go to bed. In the morning, I wash my hair. During the night, peeling perfectly removes itching, peeling, dissolves dead cells and clogged pores.
I won’t go into detail about shampoos, but it’s vital to know that they work for my scalp and don’t cause any problems.
Nutrition and thickening of the length
Because of my thin hair, thickening is crucial to me. The components that have this effect—panthenol, keratin, proteins, and biotin—were determined empirically. I selected goods whose composition includes at least one of these.
This is my latest purchase, an impulsive Crimean mask with mud, but it has a great effect. The next new product is called Kaaral ULTRA; although it doesn’t thicken hair, the oils in the formula give hair a great nourishment. The smell is horrifying, but it’s tolerable.
Heavenly face covering Keratin-infused Kaaral Filler thickens and restores the structure of hair. The mask’s impact is identical to QTEM.
Length conditioning
This point will be handled by two conditioners, which I use most frequently during the workday because they dry faster than masks.
Beautific conditioner is fantastic; it effectively detangles and smoothes hair. Though I can’t say the same about Ollin Professional conditioner, I do occasionally use it in addition to Concept tint balm for variety. This duet gives hair a slightly cooler shade and smoothes it wonderfully.
The secret to gorgeous hair isn’t just having good genes; it’s also about making the most of what you have and selecting the appropriate care for each season. You can accentuate your natural beauty by learning how the weather affects your hair and modifying your routine accordingly. To help you make the most of what you have, I’ll share my personal guidelines for choosing seasonal care products and advice on creating an all-year hair care routine.
Moisturization
Perhaps the most crucial aspect of winter care is moisturizing. Batteries, after all, operate in every room and cause the most extreme dryness and brittle hair.
For me, there has never been a better mask combo than KaaraL Purify Hydra Mask and Kaaral Purify Restructure Ampules. My fragility completely vanished a few years ago because of these methods, and I constantly go back to them.
I plan to use the mask in conjunction with Kaaral Filler, a moisturizer that contains hyaluronic acid and provides excellent moisture.
Protection of the ends
The second most important aspect of hair care is using leave-in products. I have a variety of products with varying textures that are appropriate for various weather scenarios and rinse-off maintenance.
Davines SU is a product that is more nutritious. This milk contains sunscreen, but it’s also beneficial in the winter because it nourishes, moisturizes, and provides thermal protection. Furthermore, the milk is extremely pertinent because I use a hairdryer almost nonstop during the winter to dry my hair.
The second jar, an oil-jelly from Qtem, is a remarkably light product that shields hair perfectly after intense masks without making it feel heavy.
I use milk Ollin Professional and Lee Stafford spray on the second day after washing, at night, or if I need to comb out tangled hair after the wind. I just have a lot of jars, but you can easily use the products from the first day on the second.
Styling for growing bangs
When it comes to styling, you must also be methodical. Using a hot tool to style your hair will probably cause everything to fall apart in 20 minutes. Your curly hair won’t turn into a Hollywood look with just hairspray. Styling is required both before—or better yet, multiple times—using heat and after.
For bangs, I have the following combo:
- Pantene Pro-V Thickening and Volume Spray, which I apply to damp hair;
- Taft Light Hairspray;
- Klorane Dry Shampoo to add volume, freshness, and texture to bangs.
It takes more than just heredity to have beautiful hair; year-round hair care is also important. Making the most of what nature has given you requires an understanding of the needs your hair has in different seasons.
Your hair can flourish if you modify your regimen according to the season. Little adjustments can have a big impact, whether it’s drinking more water in the winter or wearing sunscreen in the summer.
Adhering to a seasonal regimen ensures that your hair receives the exact nourishment it requires at the optimal time. The true secrets to having gorgeous hair are consistency and paying attention to these little things.
