June

June was not here for me this year. I was ill, went to the doctor, and was treated with three products. Even with the illness as a backdrop, my hair loss persisted and even grew worse.

In June, I became aware of:

  • You can use 3 products in your care and your hair won"t lose quality;
  • With a good shampoo, you can wash your hair less often;
  • There are times when everything goes wrong and you need to take it easier;
  • 3 skincare products are cool, but too boring.

"This too shall pass, for everything passes." Even though it’s very difficult right now, keep going.

July

I was pretty much home in June and May had been as cold as March, so when July rolled around, I realized that summer had finally arrived—exactly out of the blue. And here it is, bliss: the sun is shining, the birds are singing, and you can stroll around in a summer dress. However, my paranoia has awakened, threatening to spoil the whole scene. In one of the posts, I talked about this as well.

Decluttering was chosen as the solution to this issue and was also one of the marathon’s mini-goals.

Next, I identified three products that required completion:

  • L"oreal Professionel Liss Unlimited – At first, I really liked this mask for its smoothing effect, which is not very easy to achieve on porous hair. However, I began to notice more and more often that it gives a re-drying effect literally from the first use. Over time, I began to use it to close ampoules and it is perfect for this! Smoothes out frizz and makes hair more elastic. But, I will not buy it again, since I get exactly the same effect from closing ampoules with conditioner Tresseme Botanique Detox,which is several times cheaper.
  • BB one Picasso Home Care Silky Hair Mask – that mask that a year ago I would recommend to all girls! Gives hair gloss, shine, smoothness and density. Has a cumulative effect, since hair looks better and better with each use. At the same time, I have never gotten an overdose from it. The only thing is, it has a fairly strong chemical smell. With all my love for this product, I most likely will not repeat it. Found a more comfortable alternative in every sense – Densifique Fondant Densite milk from Kerastase.
  • Mielle Professional Aqua LPP Treatment – the most difficult mask in my care. Relationships jumped from love to hate. Sometimes she dried, sometimes she made icicles, sometimes she gave a perfect waterfall of hair. I can definitely recommend it to girls with very damaged, bleached hair. When I had bleached, split, damaged ends, only this mask made them soft and elastic. Everyone else with caution and minimal self-control. I won"t repeat it myself, only because I"m tired of trying to find an approach to it.

I also gave away the following additional products:

  • Oribe Supershine Moisturizing Cream – never got along with it. I expected hydration, but got nourishment and a bit of restoration. I don"t like it because the ends are always very dry on the second day, even if they were soft and hydrated on the first day. I assume that it will be perfect for girls with non-porous or medium-porous undamaged hair, that doesn"t need intensive care. I was also confused by the aroma – for me it"s the smell of dust in an unventilated room. You don"t expect this from a product with such a price. I won"t repeat the purchase.
  • Giovanni 2chic Ultra Moist Deep Deep Moisture Hair Mask – a terrible mask that dries out your hair instead of hydrating. Nothing else to say. I definitely won"t buy it again.
  • Atenje shampoo and mask by Milbon – too intense, couldn"t make friends with them. According to the manufacturer, and I completely agree with him, suitable for girls with very, very damaged hair. The shampoo gently cleanses and foams well, the mask adds softness and elasticity. I learned about softness and elasticity from my mother, the owner of very damaged, dyed and at the same time stiff, like wire, hair. She is delighted with the products.
  • Salerm Hi Repair – another too intense mask. Like the products above, to a greater extent suitable for girls with bleached or very damaged hair. Due to the addition of density, most often gives stiffness. I don’t like this on my hair. Won’t buy it again.
  • Kerastase Nutritive 8H Magic Night Serum – finally finished it and was pleasantly surprised. But not by the effect on the hair, although that too, but by how Kerastase made sure that the product could be reached to the last drop! Firstly, they made a small depression in the middle of the bottom of the bottle so that all the remains would flow there. Secondly, the dispenser tube reaches exactly to the bottom (without bending in different directions), which ensures the consumption of the product to the last drop!+100 to the brand! Now I use Loretta more often, but I will not say goodbye to Kerastase either. I still have 2 unopened packages in stock. I can definitely recommend it to all girls who want to try night care.

I felt some sort of moral satisfaction when I decluttered. It’s such a good feeling to finish or discard a product. Furthermore, I started to feel really pleased about the makeup cabinet, since items there no longer fell on me at random.

What I discovered in July:

  • Decluttering is cool;
  • I realized that I need another shampoo in my care. Angel Provence with immortelle extractfinally ran out and I am frankly tired of it, so I do not plan to repeat it in the near future. I chose between Kerastase Resistance Extentioniste Shampoo-bath and Densifique Bain Densite Shampoo. Stopped at the second one;
  • Found the best spray for my hair. It was the moisturizing spray with mui mui LANZA Moi Moi Moisturizing Mist. It suited my hair perfectly! Moisturizes perfectly, makes the ends soft. I used it right after washing, and on dry hair for combing and as a final stage of care – it always works great. I love it so much! .

  • I replaced the original spray against hair loss Kerastase Specifique Stimuliste with Grow Gorgeous Hair Growth Serum Intense. I"ll tell you about it a little later.

  • Of course, it wasn"t without deviations from the original care plan. So, in July, the Aasha mask fell into disfavor, which I didn"t want to brew and keep at all. I used it only 3 times for the whole month, and initially I wanted to use it 2 times a week;
  • I found that there are no narrow -minded nutrient masks in the care. Still haven"t decided which one I want to buy.

It’s nice to be minimalist, but having lots of jars is better!

August

All of my plans decided not to happen in August. Issues at work led to the cancellation of a much-needed vacation. I felt like I only lived normally for a month this summer—the rest of the time, "we survived as best we could"—in general.

I lost myself in hair care, trying to take my mind off this mess. Ostap then became overly enthusiastic. (c)

There were two categories for evenings:

  • I try new schemes, according to the principle – I"ll smear this, this and this, suddenly something good will come out (I will really regret this at the end of the month);
  • I crawl into the online store and add a bunch of things to the basket.

How does it appear? Something akin to "newbie hunger," where you want to buy and smear everything.

The only things that kept me from making rash purchases were our website, which has a ton of product reviews, and the semblance of common sense. Intriguingly, the cabinets’ analysis was also helpful in this situation. I threw three brand-new moisturizing masks into the basket at one online retailer. I then exclaimed, "STOP! Why do I need three more of these when I already have seven in my closet?"

Nevertheless, one purchase was inevitable. It was the Periche Intensif Choco-in, a nourishing mask. I’ve only used it once thus far, but it seems to be pretty good. See what transpires next.

In addition, I discovered several gray hairs in August, which was a very unpleasant discovery. It’s depressing to see that the body does not appear to age.

August was when I became aware of:

  • If you age, then beautifully. And I began to choose a new hair color for myself . I am planning something like this.

  • I do not need 100500 new products until I finish the old ones (saving the budget and space in the closet);
  • I have a new cool working scheme that is ideal for my hair. I will write a separate post about it;
  • I have not used ampoules all summer and my hand does not reach for them. Somehow they have faded into the background for me and I do not really want to return them to my care. Let"s see what happens in the fall;
  • Random alternation of products does not lead to anything good. I don"t think I"ve discovered anything new for anyone. So, at the end of the month, I noticed increased brittleness and white spots on the ends. And that means I"ve come to what I was avoiding and where I started.

But even the darkest point is only the beginning.

Goals and results of the marathon

Let’s move on to the most fascinating now.

Goal #1

My hair loss persisted through the beginning of June and even got a little worse, but by the end of the summer it had all but vanished, which I am so very grateful about!

Grow Gorgeous Hair Growth Serum Intense, which I previously mentioned, helped me battle this scourge. My selection of the intensive version (there’s also an Original) wasn’t by happenstance. First off, after using the improved product, two of my friends were ecstatic. They saw that new hair was growing back very quickly and that the hair loss had subsided in a reasonable amount of time. Second, the serum’s highly concentrated formula works to stop hair loss.

Mineral oils, silicone, phthalates, sulfates, gluten, and parabens are all absent from Grow Gorgeous products.

Manufacturer Promise

*Based on independent instrumental and consumer testing, this ultra-concentrated serum increases the thickness of each strand by up to 13%*. It is powered by a special blend of active ingredients. INTELLIGENT HAIR CARE INGREDIENTS: Larch and green tea activate the scalp, making hair appear thicker and healthier; Organic Pea Extract stimulates rootsto restore vitality for thicker, fuller hair; Chinese Skullcap, Soybean Sprout, and Wheat Germ strengthen rootsand improve hair condition for fuller, fuller, healthier-looking hair; Red Clover Extract and Biomimetic Peptide strengthen rootsto they looked voluminous and lush; Caffeine adds an awakening, stimulating effect on the hair roots

Composition

Aqua/Water/Eau, Butylene Glycol, Caffeine, Maltodextrin, Dimethyl Isosorbide, Propanediol, Glycerin, PPG-26-Buteth-26, Fragrance (Parfum), Phenoxyethanol, PEG-40 Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Polyacrylate Crosspolymer-6, Arginine, Xanthan Gum, Hydroxyethylcellulose, Lactic Acid, Glycine Soja (Soybean) Germ Extract, Triticum Vulgare (Wheat) Germ Extract, Chlorphenesin, Allantoin, Sodium Benzoate, Hydrolyzed Hyaluronic Acid, Pisum Sativum (Pea) Sprout Extract, Gluconolactone, Trisodium Ethylenediamine Disuccinate, Scutellaria Baicalens is (Baikal Skullcap) Root Extract, Glycine, Larix Europaea (Larch) Wood Extract, T-Butyl Alcohol, Citric Acid, Dextran, Butylphenyl Methylpropional, Limonene, Linalool, Rhizobian Gum, Sodium Hyaluronate, Alpha-Isomethyl Ionone, Cinnamyl Alcohol, Zinc Chloride, Camellia Sinensis (Green Tea) Leaf Extract, Acetyl Tetrapeptide-3,Trifolium Pratense (Clover) Flower Extract, Sodium Hydroxide, Calcium Gluconate.

Although the serum’s manufacturer suggests using it daily, I didn’t apply it until after I had washed my hair.

Even with this application, the result was felt right away. There was noticeably less hair loss after two weeks (seven applications), and by the end of the third, the loss had fully recovered to normal. Furthermore, I saw a lot of new hairs growing along the partings after about a month.

The following are the advantages and disadvantages, in my opinion:

  • Convenient packaging. The pipette perfectly collects the product and it is easy to dose;
  • The serum is absorbed very quickly and does not make the scalp greasy. The frequency of washing remained the same;
  • Economical consumption. The remainder after 2 months of use is visible in the photo above . The product will definitely last for another month;
  • A pleasant floral-herbal aroma that evaporates quite quickly.

To cons I can only attribute the difficulty of acquisition (in connection with recent events) and a rather high price when buying in Russia. 60 ml will cost from 2500 to 4000 rubles.

In terms of the objective of halting hair loss, I think we’ve succeeded here.

Goal #2

Choose the right summertime care.

In my opinion, it is both accomplished and unfinished. Despite having a few effective plans that have proven to be excellent over the long run, my care in August was incredibly disorganized. Split ends and white dots were the unfavorable results of all of this. Generally speaking

Goal #3

The most intriguing part, in my opinion, is always comparing the lengths. What about you?

Length: 89 cm at the start of the marathon, 95 cm at the finish. Granted, I didn’t gain 3 cm in a month, but I’m still really pleased with the outcome! I’m relieved that I was able to step over the 94 cm forecast. Once more, I was unable to capture an exact picture.

To obtain more precise results, I also measured the bangs’ length this time. Bangs measured 33 cm at the start of the marathon and 39 cm at the finish. The growth remains constant at 6 cm.

Completely finished!

Upon the conclusion of our summer marathon, it is evident that achieving a hair length of 100 cm is now more feasible than before. We’ve seen this season what amazing progress is possible when you put in the necessary effort and care. Every action you take, such as feeding your hair or implementing the best growth techniques, has gotten us one step closer to reaching that desired goal.

Although getting longer hair requires perseverance and consistency, the outcomes are undeniable. We’ve witnessed some amazing changes this summer and discovered a lot about keeping hair healthy. We’re not only measuring length but also honoring the perseverance required to reach that goal with every inch gained.

Let’s maintain the momentum moving forward. Adopt the strategies that have worked for you, and continue to follow your regimen for hair care. We’re going to keep growing and succeeding as we work toward our hair length objectives. Recall that each step brings us one centimeter closer to the goal!
