My requests for cold styling methods and products

To start, I determined which hairstyle method is convenient for me and, more importantly, which is not. Every morning, I wash my hair and give myself an extra forty minutes, or even longer, if I work from the office. This amount of time increases significantly if I work from home or have an appointment elsewhere. I consequently quickly ruled out the possibilities of curling my half-dried hair at night.

This gave me insight into the advantages and disadvantages of various styling options, which I then had to consider.

Benefits of morning styling

  • when placing curlers / papillotes, I do not need to think about the comfort of sleep;
  • washing and hair care in the morning fits conveniently into my morning routine and does not take up significant additional time;
  • in the morning, the feeling of freshly washed hair is priceless . And by the evening, the hair is still quite fresh.

Drawbacks to morning styling:

  • the durability of the styling is definitely less than if I slept with curlers all night;
  • you have to be careful with drying your hair, especially when using additional styling sprays – in 40 minutes – an hour and a half, which I allocate for walking with curlers, your hair can easily not dry if you do not dry it completely beforehand or apply a lot of styling products.

The traditional boomerang curlers were the first styling products I tried. I purchased the thickest curlers (green) that we sell at the beginning of January, and I quickly realized that I could wind them on two of these curlers.

But the more our community talked about silk hair accessories, the more I wanted to find silk counterparts for my boomerangs. I’ll tell you more about the options I purchased during my search—sadly, they weren’t made of real silk, but rather synthetic silk and satin. They were all bought from a reputable Chinese retailer.

My curlers and papillotes

Hair styling elastic

My hair loses style easily in the rain and in generally humid weather. especially if I have to take public transportation, stroll around the city, etc. in this kind of weather. I got this gadget for myself because I wanted to use it to create a low bun before work by carefully curling the strands, and then remove it to get my preferred waves at the office. Dreams, dreams, dreams.

I was taken aback by the elastic’s size when I opened the package. Really, it’s about as thick as my arm. Unfortunately, I don’t have enough hair to use it in any way. Additionally, the waves that can be created with its assistance will be too big, meaning that in an hour or two, my hair will be nearly straight.

However, I must admit that the elastic band is extremely well made; the satin feels incredibly smooth and pleasant to the touch, the seams are even, and the color is delicate and pleasing. Generally speaking, I kept it; however, I was unable to find a use for it at this time, and the elastic band is still hidden away in the chest of drawers.

Satin curling roller

A satin curling roller was the second option, which also required reaching deep into the drawer.

When I first started thinking about and selecting items like this, I observed that most girls struggle with the roll because the hair at the back of their heads extends quite far from the roots. The top portion of the hair at the back stays straight as a result. This is because the traditional curling roll cannot be wound more evenly—that is, farther from the ears and closer to the center of the head—because it is solid all the way around.

However, after some time, I noticed that the images of these rolls were once more connected in the middle by a ribbon rather than being solid models. They can therefore be arranged precisely how I desire! I purchased exactly this model.)

Unfortunately, I was also let down here.

First of all, I found the roll to be too large in terms of thickness. Still, not quite as important as with the elastic band.

Second, unlike boomerang curlers, the roll itself was soft and did not straighten when bent. As a result, there are some rather lengthy ends that, to be honest, annoy me because they cannot be placed anywhere.

As a result, the roll was not used in the first place, and it was moved to the far corner of the dresser to accompany the elastic band.

Satin boomerang curlers

Thank goodness, a flawless hit has finally been achieved.

The six-piece set of satin boomerang curlers I found only came in one color; the curlers themselves range in color from soft pink and golden beige to chocolate brown. The colors are lovely and delicate.

Although not as good as the elastic band, the execution quality is still quite good. The curlers are incredibly comfortable to hold in your hands and curl your hair on; the fabric is smooth and not thin.

They maintain their shape well, but on the inside they are softer than traditional boomerang curlers. Additionally, the diameter is the same as the green boomerangs I previously used.

Hair roll made of boomerangs

I tried making a hair roll out of two curlers from the set sewn together with a ribbon because I was still hoping to find one that fit me. This is how it ended up.

And as it happened, this handmade solution was just what I needed. I can adjust it to any angle, and the ends at the bottom are tucked in and secured so that nothing gets in the way of me carrying the roll on my head and going about my business. Furthermore, I find that the curlers’ diameter is ideal, so there were no issues.

A sleek and polished appearance can be achieved with silk waves, which are an easy and sophisticated hairstyle. By lowering friction and damage, wearing silk accessories not only helps you achieve gorgeous waves but also keeps your hair healthy.

Silk waves can be a flexible option whether you’re getting ready for a special occasion or simply want a look for everyday wear. With the correct silk scrunchies, headbands, or wraps, you can effortlessly create soft, flowing waves.

Silk is a chic and protective addition to any hair regimen; it keeps your hair shiny, silky, and sleek while also simplifying and enjoying the styling process.

Using silk headbands and scrunchies, you can effortlessly achieve the soft, sophisticated look of silk waves in your hair. These tools are a great choice for a healthy, fashionable look because they shield your hair from damage while also helping to create smooth, shiny waves.
