Products that changed my understanding of hair cosmetics

We’ve all experimented with a ton of hair care products in the hopes of finding the ideal fit for our particular hair type. I used to only use a select few reliable brands, just like many others. However, I recently came across some revolutionary products that caused me to reconsider everything I knew about hair cosmetics.

Not only did these products promise results, but they also exceeded my expectations in unexpected ways. These products significantly changed my approach to hair care, from changing the texture of my hair to resolving problems I assumed were inherent to the situation.

I want to talk about the products that really stood out to me in this article. These are the ones that are worth considering if you’re searching for a new staple or are just inquiring about extending your regimen.

Moisturizing aromatherapy shampoo Lebel Cosmetics IAU Serum Cleansing

There are three sizes of Shampoo IAU Serum Cleansing: 30, 200, and 600 ml. I have a 30 milliliter tiny.

Composition

Disodium Lauryl Sulfosuccinate, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Sodium Methyl Cocoyl Taurate, Cocamide Methyl Mea, and Water Tea-Taurine Lauramidopropyl Hydroxysultaine, Lauroyl Methyl Beta-Alaninate, Seed Oil of Plukenetia Volubilis, Phosphate Glycyrrhizate, Polyquaternium-10, Polyquaternium-47, sorbeth-60 tetraoleate, ppg-3 caprylyl ether, peg-120, and sodium laureth-4 carboxylate Butler glycol, tocopherol, citric acid, sodium citrate, etidronoc acid, sodium benzoate, propylparaben, fragrance, and methyl glucose dioleate.

Description from the manufacturer

For routine application of any kind of scalp effectively and gently cleanses the skin and leaves the hair feeling moisturized. restores the scalp’s hydrolipid balance to normal. has wound-healing and anti-inflammatory properties. imparts a natural sheen to hair. makes the structure more streamlined.

In theory, the shampoo’s composition is not very complex. However, I’m used to Vieso and Kaarala’s shorter, more straightforward compositions. I can navigate and comprehend them more easily. I can tell that the shampoo does not contain harsh sulfates, even though I am not an expert at reading the ingredients list. It does contain some nice ingredients, though, like vitamin E, licorice root, and Inca inchi oil.

The back of my tiny bottle has all the information regarding the ingredients and usage instructions for this shampoo. Mine simply unscrews the 200 ml version’s cap. 600 ml and flip-top versions. includes a dispenser already.

The shampoo has a gel-like transparency and a fairly thick consistency. It makes a good lather in your hands. During the second lathering, a dense, thick layer of foam forms. It has a very subtle, herbal-berry scent.

I use a product the size of a five-ruble coin for one lathering. Usage overall: 5–7 milliliters. The shampoo has a great lather while being incredibly affordable! Nevertheless, in order to remove the styling, I wash my hair from the scalp to the ends. For me, I typically use three to four times more other shampoos.

This shampoo cleanses the scalp flawlessly, respects the length of the hair, is simple to remove, and gets the hair ready for further care. Very cool. Even on day three, the roots still look excellent, but it has no effect on how frequently you wash them. I combine it with an aroma mask that is part of the same line.

Concentrated aroma mask IAU Serum Mask

There are two volume sizes for the mask: 25 and 170 ml. Once more, I have a product in miniature form.

This is how the product appears in its entirety.

Composition:

Water, cetearyl alcohol, glycerin, cyclopentasiloxane, dimethicone, hydrogenated polyisobutene, behentrimonium chloride, amodimethicone, diglyceryl PPG-9, plukenetia borealis seed oil, dihydroxypropyl arginine hydrochloride, arginine, alkyl (C12,14) oxyhydroxypropyl arginine hydrochloride, poly quaternium-107, fatty acid (C10-30) (cholesteryl / lanosteryl), lanolin fatty acid, dilauroyl glutamate (phytosteryl / octyldodecyl), dioctyldodecyl lauroyl glutamate-2, distearyldimonium chloride, isononyl isononanoate, jojoba seed oil, sunflower seed extract, steartrimonium bromide, guar hydroxypropyl trimonium chloride, fragrance, lactic acid, phenoxyethanol, methylparaben, propylparaben, ethanol, isopropanol, BG, caramel.

Description from the manufacturer:

For hair that is rebellious, curly, porous, and hard. providing molecular moisture. combats damage to internal hair. makes hair extraordinarily manageable and soft. gives dyed hair a lustrous sheen while preserving its brightness. enables you to keep your hair straightened in a salon. shields from heat and UV radiation. stops the inhalation of smells from outside sources. stops the fluffiness from forming.

It’s just a massive composition! You should be aware of the following active ingredients: nanogel, SMS complex, shea butter, and Inca-Inchi seed oil. There are various silicone varieties.

How the manufacturer advises to apply the mask:

To use, warm the aroma mask between your palms before applying it to the entire length of damp hair that has been shampooed with IAU shampoo. After rinsing with water, begin styling. 1-2 times per week, use. Avoid applying on the scalp.

The mask comes packaged in a tiny screw-on lidded washer jar. Material: high-grade plastic. The product’s composition is located at the bottom of the jar, along with all the necessary information on the back.

The mask’s scent The scent of the IAU Serum Cleansing aroma shampoo is exactly the same as that of the IAU serum mask. Although the producer labels it as berry-herbal, I can only detect the scent of freshly cut grass. It smells incredibly nice, subtle, and comforting.

It has a fairly dense and thick consistency. For my hair, the consumption is negligible—two to three grams. I use it on extremely wet hair that has been somewhat squeezed to remove extra moisture. My hair unravels and becomes slick immediately after I hold it for five to ten minutes. The mask has time to function flawlessly during this period.)

I use conditioner because I follow the "curly method," but this mask is self-sufficient enough that conditioner is not needed afterward. Hair is conditioned and detangled to perfection.

Here is an excellent review of this mask by Tanya Le fleurs de Liliss.

My hair following a wash and using these the following day:

Furthermore, we are already on the third:

After this pair, hair feels remarkably cool, silky, and soft. This combination is incredibly enjoyable to use. To be honest, this is a whole other level; however, there is a small detail that I will address a little later.

Now let’s discuss the second pair.

My perspective on hair care has completely changed since I learned about certain hair products. These game-changers—from styling creams that add shine without weighing my hair down to shampoos that genuinely nourish rather than strip moisture—made me realize that high-quality ingredients really do make a difference. I now see how my hair can be protected, restored, and enhanced in ways I never would have imagined with the correct hair products.

Refreshing aroma shampoo Lebel Cosmetics IAU Cleansing Clearment

There are additional volumes of Aroma shampoo Iau Cleansing Clearment available in 30, 200, 600, 1000, and 2500 ml. Once more, I have a tiny thirty milliliter.

Other IAU Cleansing Clearment shampoo volumes look like this:

There’s no need to go into detail because the shampoo’s packaging is the same as that of IAU Serum Cleansing.

Composition:

Water, sodium laureth-4 carboxylate, lauramidopropyl hydroxysultaine, dipropylene glycol, dipotassium sorbate, dipotassium glycyrrhizate, salicylic acid, disodium edta, chamomilla recutita (matricaria) extract, citric acid, sodium citrate, etidronic acid, sodium benzoate, salicylic acid, alcohol, and fragrance

Description from the manufacturer:

For regular use on colored or natural hair Perfect for children’s hair care and for frequent use. gives hair a natural sheen. restores the scalp’s hydrolipid balance to normal. has wound-healing and anti-inflammatory properties. SPF 10.

The shampoo has the following beneficial ingredients: licorice extract, chamomile extract, and oil complex.

The product’s back is printed with all of the information.

This shampoo has a very nice, somewhat citrusy scent as well. IAU Cleansing Clearment has the same transparent, gel-like consistency as its white brother, but it washes very differently from IAU Serum Cleansing!

I also wash my hands with a portion the size of a five ruble coin, larding it well before applying it to my scalp. Even after the second lathering, this foaming is not very strong. I feel like there’s a thin layer of oil on my hair and it hasn’t been washed at all.

Actually, this is untrue. The hair and scalp are thoroughly cleaned by the shampoo! On the third day, the roots appear fantastic, but it doesn’t keep them fresh longer.) I combine this shampoo with Lebel Cosmetics IAU Deep Mask, a concentrated aroma mask, for unruly hair.

Concentrated aroma mask IAU Deep Mask

Once more, I have the IAU Deep mask in its smallest format, weighing 25 g.

The full size 170 g appears like this:

Composition:

Water, cetearyl alcohol, glycerin, cyclopentasiloxane, dimethicone, hydrogenated polyisobutene, behentrimonium chloride, amodimethicone, simmondsia chinensis (jojoba) seed oil, c10-30 cholesterol/lanosterol esters, isononylisononanoate, dihydroxypropyl arginine hcl, arginine, hydroxypropyl arginine lauryl/myristyl ether hcl, lanolin acid, phytosteryl/octyldodecyl lauroyl glutamate, dioctyldodeceth-2 lauroyl glutamate, helianthus annuus (sunflower) seed extract, distearyldimonium chloride, steartrimonium bromide, cocamidopropyl betaine, ceteareth-7, ceteareth-13, guar hydroxypropyltrimonium chloride, lactic acid, sodium acetate, acetic acid, phenoxyethanol, methylparaben, propylparaben, alcohol, isopropyl alcohol, butylene glycol, caramel

Description from the manufacturer:

Intense maintenance for unruly, curly, disobedient, porous hair molecular-level moisturizing is restored. maintains the elasticity of hair by neutralizing residual derivatives following chemical exposure. encourages maintaining the straightened hair style achieved in a salon. provides the hair with a lustrous sheen, pliability, and suppleness for styling. softens and smoothes the framework. shields against heat and UV radiation. Even in rainy weather, it stops fluffiness from forming.

The following ingredients in the yummy for hair can be noted: lactic acid, glycerin, arginine, jozhoba oil, karita oil, rice germ oil, lanolinic acid, and sunflower seed extract.

There are silicones once more. More so than in IAU SERUM MASK, it seems.

Her white sister’s packaging, a tiny washer with an unscrewing lid, is the same. The composition is at the bottom of the jar, and all the information is on the back.

I wanted to try a protein-based mask for curling my hair after using the IAU serum mask and being so happy with the results. This small item was the decision.

This mask’s scent is completely different from that of the aroma shampoo IAU Cleansing Clearment. According to the manufacturer, it has a light citrusy-flowery scent. However, I find this scent to be less appealing and a little more sour than the Serum line. It is worth noting that the scent of Silky and Melt aroma creams is identical.

I use this mask in the same way as the previous combo: I apply it to my hair after shampooing and leave it on for five to ten minutes. Additionally, the mask is consumed in minuscule amounts.

On its own, IAU Deep mask is also effective at detangling and conditioning hair. It’s not necessary to seal with a balm, but let me say this again: I always do. Shiny, full, and submissive hair is the end result.

And today is the third day already:

Additionally, this product combination did not leave me unimpressed. The hair is really incredible.)

Naturally, IAU Essence Moist—the site’s legendary moisturizing essence—complemented all of this rinse-off care.

Essence for moisturizing hair Lebel Cosmetics IAU Essence Moist

Since this is the only release format, IAU Essence Moist me in full size.

Made of sturdy, high-quality plastic, the packaging is comfortable to hold.

Composition:

Water, cyclomethicone, hydrogenated polyisobutene dimethicone, hydrogenated rapeseed alcohol, Persea gratissima (avocado) oil, myristyl, alcohol, phytosteryl/octyldodecyl lauroyl glutamate, phytosteryl isostearyl dimer dilinoleate, isostearic acid, glycerin, butyrospermum parkii (shea) butter oil, tremella fuciformis polysaccharide, behentrimonium chloride, butylene glycol, polyglyceryl-10 laurate, phenoxyethanol, ethylparaben, propylparaben, butylparaben, ethylparaben, alcohol, ethoxydiglycol, fragrance

Description from the manufacturer:

Leave-in milk to moisturize and repair the interior structure of dry, frizzy, and wavy hair deeply moisturizing the structure of dehydrated, porous hair. maintains the youth of the hair and stops the structure from thinning. shields against harmful environmental elements and the effects of heat. makes hair supple, flexible, and elastic. envelops hair, simplifying combing. stops the body from absorbing offensive smells from the outside world. SPF thirty.

SMS complex, avocado oil, glycerin, Shea butter, and tremella extract (ice mushroom) are the active ingredients.

The bottle’s back has a Russified sticker with all the product information printed on it; sadly, mine has already worn off.

A practical pump dispenser that dispenses a tiny pea-sized amount of the product is integrated into the packaging. The essence has a creamy, medium-thick consistency and a white color. The scent is so lovely, so light and airy, like the delicate freshness of flowers. It remains in the hair until the following washing.

I need to press the dispenser four times for my length. Before styling, I use the essence as a living thing. For added shine and smoothing, dry hair can also benefit from its application. The product spreads evenly throughout the hair and glides smoothly due to its thin consistency. Generally speaking, I’m overjoyed!

In this post, Sashenka Sanya provides an overview of all three essences.

Results

Let’s now review:

  1. The products are incredibly economical, due to which they fully justify their non-budget cost, and in some cases will even be more profitable, since the consumption is simply microscopic;
  2. They work very quickly – the effect of the mask on the hair is felt literally immediately at the moment of application;
  3. Does not require dancing with tambourines – there is no need to somehow prepare the hair, warm up the product, close it with conditioner, everything is very simple;
  4. Multifunctional – I feel that my hair is moisturized and restored, and nourished after both masks;
  5. Easy to find on sale – at the moment there are no problems with buying products of this brand;
  6. Good quality packaging and quite pleasant fragrances.

There are certain drawbacks as well. The low consumption of these products more than justifies their non-budget prices, so I do not see the high cost as a drawback.

  1. For me, the only downside is that due to the presence of silicones, my curl is smoothed out. 🥺 That is, the products really work in this direction. If you pay attention to my hair on Vieso or Insight + Kaaral products, the curls there are more curled, on Lebel the curl is somehow stretched, and on the third day it generally resembles a "Hollywood wave". ☹️

Naturally, I will keep using these products because I take my time with even miniatures. IAU Cleansing Clearment is the full-size shampoo IAU will most likely purchase for my full-size Melt aroma cream.

Though I did enjoy the Silky and Melt creams as well, I wasn’t as impressed by them as I was by the masks. In comparison to other aroma masks, videge also proved to be fairly average; while it has a nice scent, it is not nearly as cost-effective as these tiny ones.

I can now declare with confidence that Lebel is a fantastic new brand that has been added to my three "whales" of care (Vieso, Kaaral, and Insight).

Product How it changed my understanding
Argan Oil Serum Showed me the importance of nourishing my hair with natural oils for softness and shine
Sulfate-Free Shampoo Made me realize how harsh chemicals can strip hair and that gentle formulas can still cleanse effectively
Leave-In Conditioner Taught me that hydration doesn"t end in the shower, and leave-ins can maintain moisture all day
Heat Protectant Spray Helped me understand how crucial it is to shield hair from heat damage before styling
Dry Shampoo Completely changed how I manage oily roots without washing daily, extending my hairstyle

Finding new hair products has the power to completely change your beauty regimen. My initial inquisitiveness about various formulas transformed into a new perspective on hair care. Not only did these products make my hair look better, but they also caused me to reconsider the true meaning of proper hair care.

These discoveries, which ranged from nourishing shampoos to volumizing styling creams, made it clear to me that high-quality components and sensible formulas are crucial. Long-term maintenance of healthy, gorgeous hair is more important than simply treating problems like frizz or dryness.

I feel more confident now that I know what my hair needs and can choose the right products. I’ve discovered that spending money on proper hair care is well worth it—not just for aesthetic purposes but also for overall hair health and confidence.
