Only 3 products for smoothness and shine of very porous hair based on the results of summer 2025. My scheme of layers and masks

It can be difficult to keep porous hair sleek and glossy, particularly after the summer’s heat and sun exposure. Many people find that porous hair lacks luster and feels rough. Thankfully, there are practical solutions available to help bring back its original luster and manageability.

The findings from summer 2022 indicate that only three products have the potential to have a major impact. These products are made to protect and nourish your hair, leaving it with the desired shine and smoothness. I’ll go over my go-to layers and masks that really do the trick.

These options are designed to meet the particular requirements of extremely porous hair, whether you’re having dryness issues or just want to bring out the natural shine in your hair. You can have healthier, more radiant hair all year long with the correct combination.

Product Description
1. Hydrating Hair Mask This mask deeply nourishes and smooths porous hair, helping to restore moisture and shine. Apply once a week for best results.
2. Leave-In Conditioner Ideal for everyday use, this conditioner detangles and adds shine while preventing frizz. It’s perfect for maintaining smoothness throughout the day.
3. Glossing Serum This lightweight serum provides instant shine and smoothness, reducing the appearance of split ends and making hair look glossy and healthy.

Failure of previous care

I attempted to establish care in a new location for approximately a month using the five kilograms of makeup I brought with me. Honey and vieso mask added weight, softness, and unruliness. When silicone cream Angel Fantazy Party was applied on top, it overloaded and left the icicles looking greasy and dull. The goods are overly potent.

I even attempted to resort to combing as a last resort. It appeared that if I were to comb this cloud, the ends would eventually come together. Not at all like that! The comb did not make things better. I abandoned this concept.

What is the problem with porous hair

It is thought that unlike straight hair, the cuticle, which is the topmost layer of hair made of scales, does not close in these strands. Here and there, the scales are lifted. This gives the entire canvas its volume and looseness.

The cuticle scales rise more in response to increased relative humidity. "Open" hair dries out, breaks, and looks bad very quickly.

Because porous hair is erratic, it is hard to take care of. Growing long and beautiful is hard. Thoughtful attention is required to achieve shine and smoothness.

The results of summer 2022 show that very porous hair can be made to look smooth and shiny with just three essential products. I’ll describe my own method in this post, along with a layered application scheme and particular masks that really helped. Whether you’re having problems with frizz or dull hair, these concentrated treatments provide a useful means of boosting your hair’s luster and texture.

Forward to the past

Moisturizing. To be or not to be

  1. no need to moisturize. This is done by the environment;
  2. need to nourish. This is not allowed by the environment;
  3. condition with silicones.

How would this work at 50–60% humidity? It became evident after two weeks that the hair would dry out and break in this manner.

Healthy, porous hair requires moisturizing in an environment with normal air humidity. But only marginally.

Keratin, silicone and glycerin

The comments remind me of the time I turned down keratin. Already, I feared that people would label me as its unstable rival. I’m hoping that didn’t occur.

I conducted an empirical study to build care for porous hair in arid climates and found that certain makeup ingredients have a negative effect on hair growth.

Theoretically, hair lacking density, smoothness, and shine can be compensated for with keratin-containing products. The first few uses are really so with dry air. But nature still has its own laws and is more powerful than makeup. This protein (and dimethylammonium hydroxide) is rapidly accumulated by porous hair over time, causing it to become hard, dull, and brittle. I grew a braid to my waist after removing several cosmetic assets from care and determining the ideal ratio.

I can now use cosmetics as (all normal people) would in a completely different environment than what the manufacturer intended. I can buy glycerin, silicon, and keratin. My eyes light up now, whereas before I had to pick funds and even entire brands carefully.

Dysbalance

.. And they dispersed for a considerable amount of time.

I realized right away that silicones were required. However, not even the most powerful tools for this component could fully invite my mane. Observing her own pictures from earlier years, she was perplexed and exclaimed, "How is it like that?!" Is my hair, following my typical head wash at home, really as smooth a canvas as in an advertisement for salon procedures? It must not be strong enough; you should get a new mask.

The hair was getting worse and there were more and more new jars surrounding the bath. I felt embarrassed even.

I haven’t used a permanent hair color, straightened my hair with an iron, or even used a hair dryer during this entire period. gathered in the wind and did not take a bath in salt water. assiduously and consistently attended to.

I had to stop beating myself up with unreasonable shopaholism and start looking for solutions in the application techniques of the cosmetics rather than the products themselves.

New care

Reassessment of values

One thing I discovered after moving from the north to the south was that I had grown accustomed to wearing pricey makeup. I will now clarify.

The cost of 400 ml of my usual shampoo is roughly 1,300 rubles. So, in Yakutsk, what is 1,300 rubles? to make one bread purchase (as well as a few other small purchases, like tea and salt). For this amount, you could purchase groceries for several days in a developed southern city! I then understood that my alphaparfs and kaarals are not for common people.

Still, this doesn’t alter the fundamentals. I even attempted to use Revivor balm in a state of despair. It was quite well-liked once. did not alter my hair in any way. Mass market is not my case, even in a nice climate.

Salon cosmetics with a noticeable effect are necessary for the perfect obedience of porous hair, regardless of the surroundings.

Only old men go to battle

Out of all the confusion that arose naturally within me, I ultimately decided on three products:

  1. Vieso mask with honey;
  2. Numero Brelil mask with oats;
  3. Bisou micellar shampoo.

🟢 Micellar shampoo Bisou

It appears to be the brand’s most recent innovation. To be honest, I’m too busy to try to figure it out. It was an accidental purchase. on the advice of a knowledgeable local user. Though there aren’t many reviews, the comment "Does not frizz the length of the hair" appears in every one of them. This is a key indicator for me to consider when selecting a hair wash.

Let me clarify: it doesn’t frizz out more than normal. neither contributes to nor adds smoothness when worn alone or in conjunction with other cosmetics. cleans up until flawless. gives the roots a brilliant sheen. I worry that this will come to a dry end in the long run. ❌️ I won’t make another purchase.

🟢 Honey-infused Vieso mask

An unexpectedly terrible product from the company. Both normal and dry climates can cause hair to become unruly. Frizzed out. Never lies down. It’s a good thing I have it at all in this instance. provides good nourishment and minimal hydration. The nourishing Angel SPA cream with collagen, which is twice as expensive, has the same effect. ❌️ I’ll stop buying now.

🟢 Oat-based Mask Numero Bralil

Many aspirations were placed in her care. There has been prior experience using a macassary oil mask. Then, I was given hair that was mirror-smooth and even. additionally on a seriously damaged canvas. Given its increased popularity, I believed an oat mask to be even more difficult. She completely believed that she had smeared her in the first application, so definitely now!

There was no repeat of the success at the exit. It was nice to wash off the boisterous celebrity from length. The fingers’ hair flowed. However, they kept their previous shaggy appearance after drying out. Say I was let down; I have nothing more to say. I intended to trade, sell, and discard a mask. cooled down and started scouting for ways to get near her. 🤔

As many layers as possible

Multi-layer hair care is nothing to be curious about. I was extremely pleased of myself for using my structure to get to the point where I could only afford one leave-in product. It was oil lately, in a dry climate. Even though there is now only one product, it has nothing to do with leave-in care. This mask is called Numero.

For me, these formulations have always been a little disappointing. So what exactly are they capable of? Present a movie, and that’s it. This isn’t a cure-all for dry air issues. distributed evenly and immediately cleaned off. They are merely receiving conditioning, and they are not more. However, this is insufficient for porous hair in ordinary air. First and foremost, many should continue it longer. Second, watch for the resultant accumulation.

My hair started to develop a cosmetic coating gradually. And there are two sides to this. Where is the "silicone + keratin" system? Occasionally, a deep-cleansing shampoo ought to surface. If not, the brittleness and stiff ends will serve as a reminder of themselves. I tried it as a leave-in cream because the mask conditions my "sugar" "wadding" at least a little. It was successful.

We spent a busy summer relaxing on the beach, swimming a lot. My hair fell out at the ends very quickly without leave-in care. tough and disagreeable. Numero revitalizes them in a literal sense. Apply the mask like a cream after wetting the length with your wet fingers to restore the strands’ suppleness, elasticity, and obedience. This is a dummy for you.

Cream, spray or oil

Leave-in oils sold out quickly in June and early July due to high consumption. Additionally, they were of no use. Silicone and organics are powerless over the angry fluffies without order in the primary leave-in care.

I haven’t given sprays any thought yet. Until Angel Fantazy Party Divine, that is. was in care a long time ago. I understand, heavy. Nevertheless, I feel like spray is meant for combing. Additionally, I enjoy applying cream or oil to damp hair.

Mask after mask

I had to add another point to washing hair because the environment makes fun of me while fluffing and drying out the curls. In order to hydrate and nourish the length, I first apply Vieso with honey. I rinse it off after leaving it on for half an hour. And after applying Numro right away, rinse it off after 15 minutes. Yes, then as a cream as well.

This plan does not appeal to me at all. I frequently neglect to use either one. additional time. But the outcome makes the effort worthwhile.

Mask before shampoo. And after

It was in that period of seriously damaged length that I learned about this technique. That was really helpful in the past! prevented from frizzing out and erasing the makeup effect. Now that I think about it.

I sprayed water all over my head and my hair. I use my palms to wring out more water. I coat the length with a conditioner/mask that contains silicone. I use it for ten to fifteen minutes. I use shampoo to wash my hair. I treat the length with the same conditioning agent. Again, I keep it on for ten to fifteen minutes. I give it a quick rinse. and use it like a cream. The fact that I am doing all of this still amazes me.

In other words, there are just three cosmetic items, and the plan is complicated.

Layers and masks scheme

Nourishing care

  1. Washing hair with Bisou shampoo.
  2. Moisturizing and nourishing the length with a Vieso mask with honey for 30-40 minutes.
  3. Rinse-off conditioning with Numero mask for 10-15 minutes.
  4. Leave-on care – Numero mask.

Maintenance care

  1. Protection of lengths from washing out care with Numero mask. Apply to wet lengths for 10-15 minutes.
  2. Washing hair with Bisou shampoo without rinsing off Numero before it.
  3. Rinse-off conditioning with Numero mask for 10-15 minutes.
  4. Leave-on care – Numero mask.

Regression and progress

How happy I am! tenacity and creativity have paid off. The formless cloud subsided with every hair wash and grudgingly molded itself within my customary confines. The hair’s ends softened once more, but they continued to cling to one another. The more I compare photos from wash to wash, the better I can see how effective the complex "layers and masks" method is; the hair looks better and better.

Professional makeup typically works right away. I know there was always a WOW effect before and after because I had damaged hair. This time, my hair is systematically covering itself in film and gathering care.

It feels great to be able to navigate around and find firm ground at last! There is still much to be done.

  • I"ll have to put organics aside and take up conditioners with a strong cosmetic effect.
  • I compare the ingredients and read reviews of heavy creams.
  • I remember products for salon procedures.
  • Autumn rains and even greater humidity are coming very soon. And then winter and heating. It"s not time to relax yet.

As a result

I appreciate the rich hydration and profound nourishment provided by the Vieso mask with honey. It makes a big difference in my hair’s health. However, Vieso with argan oil is my favorite. Similar to honey, it provides manageability, elasticity, and density while moisturizing.

Cost-effective mass-market and low-cost professional goods continue to elude me. Either hair doesn’t like them or doesn’t accept them.

My finicky hair has grown to love the Numero mask, a jack of all trades. I managed to turn around without looking foolish. This is the only product available so far that can control them.

Behind the scenes

Of course, there were other contenders for the position of "cotton candy" tamer.

Kaaral Maraes was delayed in its re-release for a while. Despite the manufacturer’s claims to have "selected all the best," my experience with Hydra has not been positive. Additionally, there were ideas regarding L’Oreal that kept coming up. The cost turned me off. I have never thought of these compositions as being particularly costly. I recalled Alfaparf SDL Nutritive and Angel SPA conditioner for all varieties. The first takes away the luster and vibrancy by building up too quickly and powerfully. I doubt I will take my porosity with the second sparkling sparkling. and was nearly purchased at a significant COCOCHOCO Intensive discount. The discount made more money on Numero.

Cutting scenes

I get periods about once a year or two. These days, we take frequent beach walks and bathe. And bold curls appear in light short strands along the hairline. They still have a tendency to curl even when lubricated with silicone Numero. And I’m thinking, "To hell with it if there’s no smoothness. "I’ll squeeze it!" I think it’s gorgeous, and I adore big, lush waves.

The excitement was short-lived. The curls crinkle but do not become dry. They also become harder. It irritates me. Having a braid or a bun while you sleep is preferable to having a wet crow’s nest on your head during the day.

In conclusion, getting shine and smoothness for extremely porous hair doesn’t have to be difficult. Based on summer 2022 trends, you can streamline your hair care regimen and still achieve great results by concentrating on just three essential products. These products have been carefully selected for their efficacy; they can take your hair from frizzy and dull to sleek and radiant.

The layering and masking method described here enables a focused approach that takes into account the unique requirements of porous hair. You can keep your hair looking its best even in difficult situations by adding these steps to your routine to maintain ideal hydration and shine.

Recall that consistency is essential. Your hair’s texture and appearance will significantly improve if you use these three products on a regular basis and follow the layering scheme. Accept these easy-to-use yet efficient fixes to have shiny, silky hair all year long.
