In the world of hair care, Kerastase has become a household name, but the brand hasn’t alone built its reputation. The products themselves are the true magic; they have changed millions of people’s hair regimens worldwide.
Beyond the opulent appearance and upscale vibe, Kerastase provides effective formulas. This product line promises to provide noticeable results with consistent use, whether you’re fighting dryness, thinning, or just want that extra shine.
What distinguishes Kerastase, though? It’s more than just marketing speak—it’sa blend of premium ingredients, cutting-edge technology, and a dedication to individualized treatment for every type of hair. Let’s explore how Kerastase delivers on its promise of tangible, real results.
Although Kerastase is renowned for producing high-quality hair care products, what matters most is how well your hair responds to them. It’s about the outcomes you can see and feel, not just the name or brand. Using products that do more than just sound good—that is, nourish and strengthen hair—will result in beautiful, healthy hair.

Be or not to be
Like everyone else—well, almost everyone who is a regular HM—I was eager to test out this seductive international brand. And like many others, I was so embarrassed by him that it added to my shame. shakily applying oils, masks, etc. D. It stayed out of the basket. Furthermore, I was certain that alternatives could be found in a more affordable market segment (the one where you wouldn’t have to haggle with a toad) and that Kerastase products weren’t particularly special. Do I now feel that way? Without a doubt, yes. Should I try to find a substitute? Not at all.
That was a poetic aside, though, so let’s get back to the main topic—the reason we’re all here.
My hair:
Kerastase – how much this sound has merged for the heart of a hair maniac
Prepare yourself, ladies—what comes next will be nonstop fun. I won’t berate the product. Yes, indeed, in every way.
A little about the product itself
Here is what the manufacturer says:
Thermal care for strengthening weakened hair Kerastase Ciment Thermique has a double effect – restorative and protective. Apply to slightly damp curls. Afterwards, you need to use a straightening iron. At the same time, the product seals the scales of the outer layer, which provides high barrier qualities. After strengthening with thermal care, weakened hair can be styled with hot tools without the risk of damaging it. The effect lasts for a very long time, does not disappear after using shampoo. The components included in Ciment Thermique strengthen and heal the strands from the inside. Deeply nourish and moisturize. Hair gains strength, softness and a beautiful natural shine. Becomes smoother and more manageable.
As the product’s name suggests, Kerastase Resistance Ciment Thermique provides thermal protection. It tastes good and has a texture that is somewhere between milk and gel, with a hint of wateriness. This indicates that the hydration will be optimal right away. Color: a perfect white.
Smell—an other song: I detect a hint of grapefruit tartness blended with nectarine’s mild sweetness. All in all, it’s pleasant and fresh. Though not too bad, it is felt on the hair for a short while.
My own series of associations: early in the day. It’s just me and the grass in the field; it’s crisp and wet and breathes coolness. The night’s quiet has given way to a plethora of noises, including the twittering of swallows, the chirping of crickets, and the faint, lovely song of the wind. I’m holding a basket filled with different fruits; I can smell the aroma of ripe nectarines and juicy grapefruits. The boundless green spaces slowly warm under the soft sun, and the earth itself smells. I’m content.
The product comes in a jade-colored, pliable plastic tube. With the exception of the iridescent stripe behind the line’s name, the packaging is completely matte. Because of this, fingerprints do not build up as they would on glossy surfaces, and it always looks presentable.
I found on the Internet that this jar’s color scheme, Cement, is most similar to Crayola Trefoil’s color. The photo doesn’t seem to capture the true color for some reason.
The matte, richly colored emerald lid unscrews with a thread. Don’t try to twist it all the way because it will turn completely if you twist it too much. I am aware that this may cause the lid to break, so proceed with caution.
And what is the result? + The best combinations with Ciment Thermique
To be really honest, I didn’t understand this milk at first. Furthermore, I am aware of the cause of this phenomenon: improper application of thermal protection. Initially, I tried to balance the care (nutrition + hydration = success) by applying thermal protection after nourishing products, but it didn’t work out. After application, the hair looked… normal. No special effects, moderate shine, and moderate softness. When I tried using it for the first time after Hydra, everything changed.
Use moisturizing products in conjunction with Ciment Thermique thermal protection for optimal results.
It was such a letdown, girls. That’s why I’ve never had hair like that in my life! I was touching it nonstop! They turned into whippy, elastic, and soft to the very tips, all the while appearing light and lush and brilliantly reflecting light. It gleamed like a real mirror! Even after tucking the hairs close to the face behind the ear, there were hardly any visible hairs on the surface! Saying that I was taken aback would be a copout. The picture I snapped that day:
Since then, Kaaral Hyrda, Tresemme Botanique Detox, and Kerastase Ciment Thermique have continuously produced fantastic outcomes.
Combination #1 that works well for everyone: 20 minutes of Kaaral Hyrda mask + 2 minutes of Tresemme Botanique Detox conditioner + Kerastase Ciment Thermique thermal protection
In all the combinations described, the hair was dried with a hairdryer. The author does not practice natural drying and does not use the described product as a simple leave-in product.
I came to the conclusion that the product ought to be used in conjunction with moisturizing jars following this amazing event. The subsequent pairing, which "shot" –
Pairing #2 for maximum benefit: Kaaral Restructure ampoules topped with Tresemme Botanique Detox conditioner; let sit for 15 to 20 minutes. Kerastase Ciment Thermal Defense shielding
We could feel the elasticity and softness even during the drying phase. The hair felt nourished and appeared thicker after blow-drying. I ended up with light, crumbly hair that still maintained its shape. They had some fluff and noticeably more extending hairs along the length, but they still shone just as well as from combination No. 1. But to the touch, it felt like real silk.
The ends remained just as soft as the first day. Moreover, this is a metric rather than just an indicator! I had my hair in a braid the entire day:
I will reserve my criticism: oil was also used in each of the combinations that were mentioned. None of them are recommended because any will work; the outcome was always satisfactory regardless of the product selected.
The Lebel Viege mask proved to be the subject of the next successful experiment.
Win-win combo No. 3: Kerastase Ciment Thermique thermal protection + Lebel Viege mask for 20–30 minutes
Even the Sahara Desert will become hydrated with this pair. Is your hair more akin to a dishrag? Do you have the feeling that even a slight touch will turn it into dust? Try using Viege and Kerastase together; they will completely moisturize your hair.
The photo is not very good, a little out of focus, but nevertheless the effect of the combination is clearly visible:
The hair feels like it belongs to a child—it’scool, ironed, easier to style, and the fluff has been "tamed." Also, the blend enhances and balances one another to create a scent that is memorable. Is this not a dream?
Put in a good word for the properties of thermal protection
I was able to use Kerastase Ciment Thermique as protection under the iron prior to doing keratin. During this brief—roughly three weeks—period, I was able to comprehend the following:
100% of the product opens up with the iron. Particularly silky, sleek, and well-groomed hair Amazing brilliance visible from orbit Splitting of the fabric is dependable protection. As usage increases, each hair becomes less brittle. I really urge girls who use thermal devices to look into this product carefully.
