My results after six months of conscious hair care

I made the decision to alter my hair care regimen six months ago. I made the decision to approach hair care with more consideration rather than depending solely on arbitrary products and routines. I did my homework on ingredients, considered the unique requirements of my hair, and developed a regimen that worked for me.

It wasn’t always an easy ride. There were periods when I was doubtful, when I didn’t get results right away, and when I questioned whether I was doing it correctly. However, as the months went by, I became aware of significant changes in my hair’s condition and appearance.

I’ll discuss my experiences over the last six months in this post, including what worked and what didn’t, as well as the changes I’ve seen in my hair since I started giving it more thought.

What has changed in these six months

In order to include certain things in the care at the appropriate time and exclude others, I made the decision to add something that could help the situation and monitor all of these changes in real time. I’ll now share with you my areas of concentration during this time.

1. Balance in care

It seems like you need a balance of nutrition, hydration, and restorative processes from what I’ve read. However, for some reason, I overlooked this information.) I wore one or two hair masks at most. For some reason, I ignored what they were aimed at. My hair changed instantly as soon as I started using the hydration-nutrition-restoration regimen.

Buying the Kaaral Hydra moisturizing mask also brought about a revolution in my medical care. I was able to tell when my hair was moisturized and when it wasn’t after using it.

In my hair care routine with masks, I now use Kaaral Hydra for one wash, Maraes or Keune for the next, and Filler for the last wash. Every now and then I incorporate ampoule care into the routine.

2. A sandwich of leave-in products

I used to only use leave-in care spray and oil. I believed that all creams were excessively thick, would cause me to overeat, and would make my hair hang like icicles. However, this did not occur. I now use all three products with joy, and they are all excellent.

For six months, the ends can look respectable without a haircut because they essentially never split.

The hair is six months without a haircut in the picture on the left, and six months without one in the picture on the right.

3. Silk elastic bands

I used to be really fond of wires and elastic bands. But they frequently became tangled in my hair and left creases when I removed them from my ponytail. My hair became tangled as well if you sleep with such an elastic band. I immediately purchased silk elastic bands as soon as I learned about them. They are also very adorable and feminine.

I spied on our girls and recently added gorgeous hairpins and bows to my collection. ))

4. Using conditioner

In the past, I applied conditioners like a mask—I didn’t cover anything with them. Apply conditioner after the mask even though they write all over the place. I’ve always thought of it as an extravagant and costly waste. My toad objected, saying he didn’t see the point. ))) I once attempted to use conditioner over the Kaaral Hydra mask, and the outcome was fantastic. I’m applying conditioner to a few masks and ampoules right now.

5. Ampoules

I didn’t realize they were necessary before. Since there are masks, I felt it was a waste. I occasionally purchased Korean fillers, but I only used them rarely or when I wanted to look nice for a special occasion. My hair feels lot better now that I try to use ampoule care once a week or twice.

6. Braiding hair at night

I’ve been sleeping on a silk pillowcase for a while, and before bed, I put my hair up in a loose ponytail. However, I toss and turn so much when I sleep that occasionally my hair becomes a little tangled. When I don’t need straight hair the next day, I now braid my hair. This, in my opinion, also adds to the cut’s thickness.

7. Pre-pu method

Although I’ve heard a lot about it, I felt that it was even more unnecessary than using conditioner right after a mask. I was encouraged to try this method by so many girls, so I did. I’ve been using the inexpensive conditioner I first purchased, followed by a mask, before washing my hair for almost a month. Of course, sometimes I forget. I’ll keep trying to observe the outcome.

8. Scalp massage

I used to do it, but sporadically and lazily. It was disorganized and I kept forgetting. I now aim to dedicate ten minutes to it every other day. It makes my head very oily, but it’s such a soothing and enjoyable activity that I can’t resist.

Darsonval was under my care as well, but our paths have now parted. I get itchy from it.

9. Scalp care

I used to really enjoy using dry shampoo, applying it multiple times a week. I later learned that using it more than once a week increases your risk of developing scalp infections. I don’t even reach for the remnants of my dry shampoo now that it’s collecting dust in the closet. I can go wash my hair more easily now. ))

I used up a lot of bottles of this company’s dry shampoos, which I liked the best.

I have also been taking care of scalp peelings for a very long time. However, I didn’t use them very often, and the few times I did, I purchased inexpensive ones that lacked the essential acids. My scalp would often be itchy and covered in dandruff. I peel my hair once or twice a week now, and I’ve already forgotten what dandruff is.

Right now, the Time to Grow Peeling is my favorite. I could sing odes to it; it’s that good. I finished a little more than half of the tube in six months.

10. The use of thermal protection

Since I don’t often use hot appliances, I didn’t think it was a huge deal to use it without heat protection once. But as soon as the curling iron was used, white dots started to show on the ends. Heat protection is now essential, even when using a heated hair dryer. Heat protection creams are my favorite.

The Kerastase samples were excellent; I plan to select one and purchase a full size.

11. Refusal to finish off unsuitable cosmetics

I always felt bad about throwing away makeup since I had to use them all, even if I didn’t like the way it looked.) I now try to avoid doing that. I choose products carefully and thoughtfully, so it’s very rare that one doesn’t fit me at all. This most frequently occurs with shampoos. However, I no longer use them all; instead, I wash my comb with them and sell or give them away.

The shampoo in the picture is a pest that gave me dandruff and itchy skin.

12. Food additives

Consume food supplements and vitamins. Additives are my favorite.) Even with the best of intentions, I think it is impossible to obtain everything from food. I therefore occasionally take different kinds of dietary supplements.

13. Hair protection

I used to love walking around with my hair loose in the wind, wetting it in seawater, and not protecting it from the sun or other strange objects. I started adhering to a new plan this summer.) Spray on sunscreen before leaving the house each time. Make sure to wear a hat and gather your hair when at the sea. When swimming in the sea, avoid wetting your hair and make sure to rinse off any salt instantly with fresh water. My hair thanked me for this because the condition didn’t get any worse while we were away.)

14. Suitable shampoos

I came to the conclusion that sebum-regulating and oily scalp shampoos were not the best choices for me. My scalp dries out, my hair squeaks after them, and dandruff appears. For the time being, this is how it is, but maybe I will change my mind later. I started using sulfate-free and milder shampoos for my care. I now prefer volume-boosting shampoos.

I began using two shampoos in succession, one slightly harsher and the other slightly softer. During the second lathering, I only apply the shampoo to my roots and leave it on for two to three minutes.

15. Growth stimulation

I’ve been using warming masks and growth tonics for a very long time. However, I forgot to use them on a regular basis. I discovered that my hair can grow really well as soon as I started introducing them on a regular basis. For me, the most important things are self-control and creating picture collages to inspire me. Well, remember to take pauses and give my hair a break.

Result in six months

A collage of the subject’s hair growth over a six-month period. It wasn’t until I began creating these kinds of comparison collages that I became aware of how quickly my hair grows.

My hair is much healthier now that I’ve been concentrating on conscious hair care for six months. It’s stronger, glossier, and breaks much less. Through adherence to a regimen, utilization of mild, organic products, and increased awareness of my hair’s individual requirements, I’ve succeeded in transforming my hair from lifeless and breakable to shiny and robust.

My products now

Initially, I would typically use one shampoo, one or two masks, spray, oil, and dry shampoo in my routine. as well as a cheap peel. I have a ton of money now; the beginner’s hunger started. I attempt to restrain my desires, but I want to try a lot of things.)

I have other products, too; these are just the ones I use right now. A cabinet containing brand-new, unopened products is located behind the scenes.

What else has changed

  • I am slowly learning to take normal photos, it does not always work out, of course.
  • I am learning to formulate my thoughts in text.)
  • I have a group of like-minded people, I have someone to discuss hair and cosmetics with. My friends do not share such fanaticism.
  • I am participating in the 2nd marathon in a row. Initially, I thought to register only to participate in one marathon, and that"s it. ) I did not plan to write anything.
  • I learned a ton of new information about hair, although it seemed to me that I already knew a lot. )) And there is still a lot that I do not know.
  • Not only the length has changed, but also the quality of my hair.
Observation Result
Hair texture Smoother and less frizzy
Growth rate Noticeably faster
Strength Less breakage and shedding
Shine More natural shine
Scalp health Reduced dryness and itching
Split ends Fewer split ends

The health and appearance of my hair have significantly improved after six months of focused conscious hair care. Compared to before, it feels lot more controllable, stronger, and glossier.

My regular regimen of protecting my hair from damage, using nourishing products, and using gentle techniques has really paid off. Achieving these results has required consistency, and gradual improvements have had a significant impact.

The most important lesson I learned was that taking the time and making the effort to take care of my hair will pay off in the long run. I’ve learned a lot about what works best for my hair along the way, including how to maintain its best possible look and feel.
