Cold wave

But there’s one in particular that I adore. EThat: Wave of Fingers.

The process of styling hair in S-shaped waves with a laundress, combs, and/or clamps. Finger Wave reached its height of popularity in the 1920s and 1930s.

As they say, fashion is a cyclical classic. Today, one can find cold wave at theme parties, fashion shows, and movie theaters.

Why am I stating this?

Considering the nostalgic vibe, how about we attempt to recreate something along these lines?

The styling product of choice for a modern take on retro charm is BEAUTIC GEL-Custard. It creates hairstyles that are inspired by vintage fashion and last all day without feeling stiff or sticky. It does this by seamlessly combining the structure and hold of a gel with the creamy texture of a custard. Ideal for keeping your style modern and fresh while infusing it with a hint of nostalgia.

Necessary accessories

Hairdressing clips (I went with the hardcore ones, but there are options that make the process much simpler), crab, thin comb, and Beautific’s gel-custard Curl Me On will be my helpers.

It seems to me that red lipstick is a must-have.

I’ve always been drawn to curly makeup; some people have even tried CGMing it. My mother has curly hair, so why is mine suddenly lacking fluff but still has waves?

I never adopted the curly routine because, as I discovered during the method’s trial, I have a very slight S-shape with enough length.

However, it did leave me with fond memories and a sincere fascination with curly makeup.

About our assistant

The gel-custard comes in a puck-shaped jar that is black and yellow. The lid fits the weather outside the window quite well, resembling a very happy autumn zebra. Additionally, the composition, application technique, and expiration date are specified.

What is custard?

Custard is a stage in a curly routine that is intermediate or variable. combines the benefits of a fixing gel with a caring cream. Plant-based ingredients, such as pectin and flaxseed, are primarily responsible for the fixing power of custards. mediocre or lacking fixation.

Bottles featuring a flip-top cap or pump dispenser should not be filled with viscous or thick consistency. Custards typically resemble some sort of dish! are presented in screw-off lidded jar-washers.

Why exactly a gel-custard, and not a regular foam or mousse?

Only once did I happen upon a new product on a berry website. I found a reason for myself, and it was interesting to try.

The viscosity of an aloe gel that is thick and jelly-like. There’s nothing particularly noticeable about the scent; it’s cosmetic. However, I had my nose deep in the jar.

I sense a scattering of tiny, unripe green apples right out of the garden. In the morning, still drenched from the dew, she was definitely collected.

The lengthy and intriguing composition includes plant-based polymers and fixatives, a small amount of moisturizers, and a drop of oil. Seeing hydrolyzed silk makes me very happy because I enjoy proteins and amino acids in leave-in care.

My opinion about custard.

I proceed to styling

I start by choosing two front strands and, for ease of use, use a crab to pin the remaining hair. It looks gorgeous already, in my opinion.

On the right side, I part ways. I use a spray bottle of water to wet my hair.

I use Castarda frequently, but excessive use can lead to weight gain in people with thin hair!

Emulsify the custard into a white gel by splashing a little water from a spray bottle into the palm of your hand.

I smooth the hair first, then distribute the fixing agent after combing. I also go through it using a comb.

I start to form, setting the first S-direction with a comb. Gel strands are easily broken off.

I grip the comb with my palm to mark the beginning, and I use a clamp to pin the first bend. I then pin the second one while simultaneously setting the direction and applying pressure to the strand with your fingers.

I find that using my fingers to form is far more convenient than using a comb.

I use the left strand in the same way.

There are still long strands remaining on both sides. I use my fingers to twist them into rings and pin them up. Once more, it comes out beautifully!

It all dries rather quickly. I only provided a little assistance using a cold stream hairdryer.

I unscrew the clamps once everything is completely dry. It is evident that a thin polymer film, or "cast," is present.

At this point, you could theoretically stop, make a casual bun behind your ears, and strategically pin the wave with an invisible pin. A silk elastic band is mine.

One custard’s fixation is insufficient for me, so I lightly misted hairspray on top.

Intermediate options

The hairstyle holds firmly and appears slightly gelled. Assuming the wave is preparing for the night, you can stroll placidly until time X.

You can let it down later in the evening. The loose version seems much more romantic to me.

Final stage

Alternatively, you could "break" the cast, comb through the strand, and obtain a Hollywood wave—I don’t mind using this word.

I want to curl the rest of my hair because it looks good. I haven’t mastered the art of using clips for my entire head of hair, so I didn’t want to use a curling iron or a bun, also known as cold styling.

However, I believe everything lies ahead. You cannot succeed in this field without training.
