I turn porous hair into a smooth canvas with the Kaaral Maraes mask

Taking care of hair that is porous can be very difficult. It’s frequently dry, frizzy, and hard to manage, which makes styling seem like an uphill struggle. Many of us have tried a plethora of products in the hopes of finding the magic fix to hydrate and smooth our hair.

Let me introduce you to the Kaaral Maraes mask, a hair treatment that claims to turn coarse, porous hair into a smooth, silky surface. This deep hydration mask smoothes and repairs individual strands of hair, leaving it feeling softer and looking healthier.

I’ll explain in this post how the Kaaral Maraes mask has revolutionized my hair regimen. This may be the answer you’ve been looking for if you’re having problems with frizz and dryness.

Updated Maraes products

The product line now offers a vast array of options, and its product categories have grown. Currently, there are the following masks to select from:

  • Smoothing mask for straight hair Liss Care Mask
  • Mask for colored and chemically treated hair Color Care Mask
  • Mask for dull and damaged hair Renew Care Mask

From the manufacturer

Every product in the Mares line combines the exceptional nourishing and restorative properties of pure Monoi oil, which has earned Organic Ecocert certification. The products in this line have a special formula that excludes ammonia, PPD, gluten, and sulfates. Your hair becomes exceptionally beautiful and healthy with hair coloring, the use of deeply restorative products for hair care, and protection from the Mares line.

Product design

The mask now has a delicate and lovely inscription that reads "Renew Care" along with a minimalist design. The mask has a white paper sticker on it. I believe that if it is left in the bathroom for an extended period of time and water gets on the jar, it may get wet.

The jar used to be a vivid blue color, with all of the inscriptions printed on it.

I enjoy the product’s both its new and old designs. Every step is taken in a contemporary manner.

Texture and aroma

I want to make a brief comparison between the updated mask and its predecessor in terms of consistency and textures.

The mask used to smell extremely rich and brightly perfumed. The texture was extremely dense and thick. "Stood" the spoon inside the mask. It’s a vivid blue color.

The scent of the mask is now, in my opinion, more subtle. The wax is still there, but it has lost some of its sharpness. Though I am aware that not everyone enjoys the scent of this series, there is a slight resemblance between the two scents.

The mask has a thick, whipped cream-like consistency. Thick, but not in the previous way. There is a slight increase in the consistency’s lightness and flexibility. As we can see, the color has turned completely white, leaving no traces of blue.

Comparing the compositions of the masks

Let’s compare the new mask version with the earlier Maraes mask version to see how the composition has changed.

Previous composition

Aqua (water), Cetearyl Alcohol, Behentrimonium Chloride, Glycerin, Ceteareth-20, Cocos Nucifera Oil (Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Oil), Gardenia Tahitensis Flower, Parfum (fragrance), Butyrospermum Parkii Butter (Butyrospermum Parkii Butter (Shea Butter)), PEG-5 Imidazolidinyl Urea, Hydroxypropyl Guar Hydroxypropyltrimonium Chloride, Tetrasodium EDTA, Citric Acid, Hydrolyzed Keratin, Sodium Glutamate,Laurdimonium Hydroxypropyl Hydrolyzed Keratin, Sodium Cocoyl Glutamate, Cl 19140 (Ac id Yellow 23), Cl 74180 (Directblue86), Tocopherol, Methylchloroisothiazolinone, Methylisothiazolinone, Coumarin, Benzyl Salicylate, Linalool, and Hexyl Cinnamal

It was a filling, nourishing, and rejuvenating composition. It included:

  • Fatty alcohols
  • Shea butter
  • Coconut oil
  • Glycerin
  • Hydrolyzed keratin
  • Urea
  • There are no silicones in the mask

The composition has altered as of late; among the active ingredients, we observe:

  • Fatty alcohols
  • Shea butter
  • Coconut oil
  • Red algae extract (Chondrus Crispus Extract)
  • Red algae extract Hypnoea (Hypnea Musciformis Extract)
  • Gardenia extract
  • Laminaria extract
  • Alaria extract (also algae)
  • Pelvetia algae extract
  • Sunflower oil
  • Silicone

This time, a sizable amount of brown algae extracts were added by the manufacturer to enhance the mask. Silicones and sunflower oil were added. We can infer from the product’s composition that it will replenish lipids and nourish hair. Smoothness and excellent conditioning are expected.

A game-changer for giving porous, unruly hair a smooth, sleek finish is the Kaaral Maraes mask. It helps repair damage, lessen frizz, and leave your locks feeling soft and manageable by deeply moisturizing and nourishing the hair. For people who struggle with dry or coarse hair textures, this treatment is a go-to option because it provides salon-quality results at home. You can have healthier, more radiant hair that is simpler to style and looks amazing every day with consistent use.

My mistake in application

Now is the time to give the hair the mask. I was eagerly awaiting this opportunity, and I’m prepared to discuss the application process and the outcome.

Given that the mask’s composition is genuinely nourishing and lipid-rich, I determined that my hair now only required this kind of lipid support and extended the mask’s holding time to 15 minutes.

I apply the mask to towel-dried hair and put a shower cap on top so that the mask could not dry on the hair.
The mask is thick, nourishing and I made a big mistake when I did a bun on the top of my head with it. Part of the mask got on the root zone and, as it turned out, I did not wash the mask off thoroughly enough, and in some places I had oily roots. (In fact, this is not the first time for me, this also happened with other nourishing masks).
Therefore, the second time I did not do a bun, but tied a small ponytail at the bottom and put it under a bag.

Result from using the mask

I want to remind you about my hair’s structure.

  1. natural
  2. porous
  3. there are both thin hairs and a small number of dense ones (including gray ones)

Even though it’s raining outside today, I have a lot of inspiration for hair care. It was decided that I would make a Maraes mask today and visit the store to see if the moisture outside would cause my hair to swell significantly.

So, what I took care of today was:

• Two lathers of Vichy Dercos shampoo for sensitive scalps • A 15-minute mask made of Kaaral Maraes

I wanted to see what the mask alone would do, so I skipped the conditioner and even leave-in products.

What effect did I get

My hair was extremely slick after removing the mask; my fingers went through it with ease and not a single knot developed. The hair had been perfectly untangled.

My joy was limitless once it dried. My dreams came true with the hair. I was motivated to take care of it after falling in love with it once more. They turned extremely smooth and straight to the touch!

Nourishment for hair. The hair felt nourished to the touch, slightly heavy, and elastic. softness of hair. This has an instant impact and attracted attention right away. The ends are soft and have maximum mobility. Not even a tad dry. The ends and whole length lie extremely nicely. lustrous hair. Just ten out of ten. Hair as smooth as canvas, like silk. They have no frizz and are smooth all the way around. Imagine that it disappears even right away after washing.

The ends are evenly spaced and do not protrude. They appear flimsy.

It’s time to head to the store, of course. It’s pouring outside, and I’m shocked twice to discover that my hair is not frizzy or curly. The hair remains glossy and silky.

The hair is not weighed down or overfed on the second day. They lost all luster and powerful volume and became even more silky, but something had to give in order to have flawlessly smooth hair. I adore this outcome!
