Help save your hair! Blonde breaks off

Although blonde hair can be very attractive, maintaining its health can be difficult. You’re not the only one if you’ve noticed that your blonde hair is breaking off. Brittleness and damage are common problems for people with lighter hair tones, particularly after repeated bleaching or dying. But fear not—there are strategies to fortify and shield your hair.

Compared to other hues, blonde hair is typically more brittle and more likely to break. A number of things can cause damage, including frequent brushing, heat styling, and chemical treatments. This may eventually result in shorter, thinning hair, which will make your hair appear less colorful.

You can aid in restoring the health of your hair by being aware of the reasons behind hair breakage and implementing a few crucial habits. There are steps you can take to keep your blonde locks strong and shiny, such as using kinder products, avoiding heat, or getting regular trims.

History of blonde

I apologize for the poor quality of this photo of the first lightning strike.

Waist-length hair

It was all good for roughly three years. My hair reached my waist, and it was a good thickness with no breakages. At the time, the care was mass-market and chaotic. I attempted to save myself by using oils and sprays to make combing my extremely tangled hair easier.

Subsequently, I experienced hair loss as a result of iron and vitamin D deficiency. I corrected these deficiencies six months later, and things improved. A picture of this era’s hair:

You can see how I started to lose thickness along the length as well as overall length here.

Pictured from the salon, where I was advised to take care of this: Kezy MY Therapy anti-age mask for thickness, Kezy Moju leave-in mousse for restoring hair structure, and Kezy My Therapy shampoo for thickening thinning hair with hyaluronic acid.

I added Kezy conditioner Mytherapy Remedy here after using this treatment for six months. Kezy’s rejuvenating two-phase spray conditioner, strengthening oil Indian Amla Matrix Oil Wonders, and restructuring with keratin all work together to restore.

I added every product at random, without knowing that taking care of blonde hair was a concern, based on reviews. After using this product for six months, my hair held volume well, became incredibly light and fluffy, and did not tangle.

With time, I noticed that I had short hair on top of my head, broken hair where my clothes collar, scarf, or hat ends, and on one side where my hair was tense and breaking because I occasionally, and only when absolutely necessary, wore a braid on my left side. Subsequently, the hair on my head started breaking at the back and, strangely, at the level of my ears. The right side started to thin out more because I wear my hair on the left side.

I believe that Kezy My Therapy shampoo, along with the general lack of a care system, is to blame for the drying out of blonde hair over time, as I discovered from reviews. One user also reported experiencing this after using the product for an extended period of time.

Crucial! Since I bleached it once, two years ago, my hair has not been lightened. I refuse to allow the masters to tell me that it can be cleaned. The hair strands have never stretched when wet, and the length of the hair has never been burned.

The broken hairs are visible if you raise the longer, upper hair:

I get my hair lightened and tinted at the hairdresser once every 1.5 months. Because of my damaged hair, the hairdresser no longer takes the chance of lightening my roots with powder and instead uses a mild paint at low percentages. This leaves a red strip, which is painted over the following time, lightening me more dramatically each time.

The hair is not falling out at this point; instead, it is falling out in short pieces without roots, leaving only a few hairs on the comb. There will be a crunch as you run your hand through the hair, and where the hair is tangled, there will also be remnants left behind. Some hair breaks easily when wet, while others have great strength. When hair is wet, it stretches one hair at a time; if you pull on a strand, it does not stretch.

I discovered this website a month ago and decided on care based on posts and recommendations.

My hair is thick, straight, dark blond, and strong. I wash my hair every other day because I have an oily scalp and my hair sticks together after a day. I never comb it while it’s wet; instead, I always use a hairdryer set to the middle setting to dry it.

Blonde hair is lovely, but brittle; breakage is a common problem, particularly after bleaching or coloring. Focusing on mild care regimens that fortify and shield your hair from harm will help preserve your blonde locks. The key to maintaining healthy hair and preventing breakage is using the right products, avoiding excessive heat, and deep conditioning on a regular basis.

Care regimen

I now maintain my hair in this manner:

First Day:

Matrix Unbreak is washed. If I don’t use two blonde shampoos, my hair won’t wash out.

I use the moisturizing Kaaral Purify Hydra Deep Nourish Mask for thirty minutes.

I spend three to five minutes using Angel Professional Marine Depth SPA Conditioner.

I spray my damp, wrung-out hair with Ollin Care.

I wet my hair and apply Cocochoco Intensive leave-in moisturizing cream; I do not rinse it off.

Put one press of the Ollin BioNika Fluid Reconstructor onto slightly towel-dried hair.

Day 2:

After using the same shampoo, I combine a mask-worthy conditioner (TRESemmé moisturizing conditioner for hair Botanique Detox) with a professional direct action dye (Nexxt), which I apply for thirty minutes using a pea-sized amount to ensure that my hair has some color and to get rid of yellowing.

After that, I use a five-minute restorative Kaaral reconstructing mask for hair with royal jelly. Subsequently, I apply the same regimen as the day before: conditioner, spray, cream, and fluid.

Day Three:

The identical care as the first day, with the exception that after the moisturizing mask I use Lador Perfect Hair Filler for five minutes to rebuild the structure of my hair. Then, I repeat the first day’s care, using conditioner, spray, cream, and fluid.

I then circle back and repeat the care.

Problem Solution
Dry and brittle hair Use moisturizing shampoos and conditioners
Hair breakage Apply leave-in conditioners and hair masks
Split ends Trim your hair regularly
Heat damage Limit the use of hair dryers and straighteners
Color-treated hair Use products designed for colored hair
Weak hair structure Take biotin and keratin supplements

Even though blonde hair is stunning and eye-catching, it can be brittle and easily broken if not taken care of. Harsh chemicals, heat styling, and frequent coloring are all factors that weaken hair. But you can preserve and repair your blonde hair with the appropriate strategy.

Using products designed especially for color-treated hair and regularly hydrating with deep-conditioning treatments are crucial for maintaining healthy blonde hair. Preventing additional damage can also be greatly improved by minimizing the use of heated tools and using gentle brushing techniques.

Recall that you can prevent significant breakage and maintain the strength and vibrancy of your blonde hair by making tiny, regular progress toward hair care. Your hair will thank you for your kindness with long-lasting strength and beauty.
