Four weeks with Lebel. Four leave-in hair products. Four impressions

With so many options available, it can seem like an endless journey to explore haircare products. A variety of leave-in products are available from Lebel, a company well-known for professional haircare products, with the aim of enhancing hair manageability, gloss, and texture.

Four distinct Lebel leave-in products have been tested over the last four weeks. Each one addresses different hair concerns and styling requirements, bringing something special to the table.

We’ll examine these four products’ performance and lasting effects after a month of consistent use in this post.

Beginning of the story

I’m not sure what happened to me or who bit me, but Lebel gave me four (!) leave-in shampoos at one point.

  1. Lebel IAU Essence Forti — Strengthening Hair Essence. I was attracted by the description — it fights hair breakage along the length.
  2. Lebel IAU Essence Moist — Moisturizing Hair Essence. Winter, cold, dryness from the radiators… Moisturizing, that’s what you need?
  3. Lebel IAU Serum Oil — Hair Essence. A lot of good reviews — that it’s almost the coolest leave-in from Lebel.
  4. Lebel IAU Essence Sleek — Smoothing Hair Essence. I bought it to complete the picture… I’m still looking for bite marks

I used everything I could get my hands on from the list above at first. Naturally, though, using this method makes it impossible to comprehend what it is and how it functions. I therefore made the decision to hold mini-marathons with each of these four leave-in products in order to precisely determine how they function on uncolored, long, light (!) medium porosity hair that is also prone to forming a wave. In addition, of course, to rate them personally.)

The post is lengthy and impure. Tea, Zakhar!

I used each of these leave-in products for precisely one week in order to maintain the experiment’s integrity. What does this signify? This indicates that I only used one leave-in product per application during the entire week. That is, after spraying, on damp hair. after drying, on dry hair. On dry hair prior to going to bed (occasionally when I noticed my hair was a little bit dry). On dry hair in the morning of the following day (should I choose not to wash my hair that day). I didn’t use thermal protection or any other leave-in products. I only detangled my wet hair with a spray.

Again, I limited my "hair bar" to a small number of products for the duration of the experiment to maintain the experiment’s integrity. I’ve used them long enough to comprehend their function and impact, as well as to assess a new product’s impact in relation to them. These are as follows:

  1. Kerastase Shampoo Discipline. Yes, I used only one shampoo for 4 weeks. It was super-difficult In fact, not so much, it is divine, my love, but after the marathon I still gave myself to GOSH.
  2. Revlon Professional Spray. Also my favorite. The spray was applied only to damp hair before the leave-in for detangling. I don’t use it at other times.
  3. Redken Conditioner + Ollin Professional Active Complex 7 in 1. Always in pairs.
  4. Lebel IAU Cream Melt Repair — Aroma cream with melting texture for moisturizing. I wanted to see how leave-in products will work with the "native" product. For me, this cream is something between a conditioner and a mask.
  5. Lakme ampoules. Almost by accident I got hold of as many as 4 pieces (of course, I used them before). I like them in general, but my hair after them, of course… I have to understand how leave-in products smooth out MEGA fluff?)
  6. for special occasions rescue operations1:1 mixture of Kaaral Maraes mask and Kaaral Royal Jelly Cream.

!! Because I had them in castings when I completed the post, they had moved on to something sad, which is why there are no Maraes and Royal Jelly Cream masks here.

In any event, I made the decision that even if something went wrong, I would still get my hair cut in February because, as you can see in numerous of the pictures below, the ends had started to thin out eight months after the haircut.

It was frightful. Warning: in March, I still had my hair cut five centimeters shorter.

What I did to provoke this whole situation:

Hair using silicone oil leave-in and Karaal Maraes and Karaal Royal Jelly Cream. Using an IKOO brush, hair was dried with a hairdryer. I have a nearly even canvas after this drying, almost like on a brush.

The photo taken immediately after drying shows that the lower half is a little fluffy. This is partially because I used a brush to curl the ends, but other than that, the canvas is smooth and doesn’t have a lot of frizz.

Week one. Moist. When quality is more important to you than visuals

A short description from the manufacturer:

For deeply moisturizing porous, parched hair structure

  • Ensures the preservation of youth in hair, prevents thinning of the structure
  • Protects from aggressive environmental factors and thermal effects
  • Makes hair soft, elastic, silky, flexible.
  • Envelops hair, makes combing easier
  • Prevents absorption of unpleasant odors from the external environment
  • SPF 30

Cream with a light, thin consistency. Mine is two to three pumps on wet hair and one pump on dry hair. Cell Membrane Complex, avocado oil, glycerin, shea butter, and tremella extract (ice mushroom) are the active ingredients. I don’t own Japanese, so I didn’t search for the compositions on Google and didn’t find them.

I’ll talk about the aroma separately. It doesn’t smell particularly bad; it just has a pleasant floral scent without any extras or surprises. However, I’m not a big fan of such intensely floral and sweet scents. At the end of the day, you can’t really feel it on your hair; it’s a matter of taste generally.

Application order: after spraying, apply to damp hair; after drying, apply to dry hair.

After Moist on the fourth day of my mini-marathon, this is my hair. Evening has already arrived! when my hair typically lies flat and "calms down." This is untrue with Moist; in fact, even the side waves appear to be attempting to form. Hair is more likely to kink and "crease." Lebel IAU Cream Melt Repair aroma cream is used for care. additionally dried using an IKOO hairdryer.

(apologies for the poor lighting) and a T-shirt, slob

Although the girls’ hair appears shiny in the flash photo, in real life they are actually more matte than usual.

Given that the aroma cream and leave-in conditioner are designed to specifically moisturize, it stands to reason that the "native" Moist care works incredibly well in terms of quality.

Six days after the Lakme ampoule frizziness, hair after Moist:

Moist, what’s up with that? Where are the elasticity and silkiness? In all fairness, these pictures were taken immediately after drying. All this frizz had lessened, but only slightly, after a few hours. The hair is incredibly soft and moisturized thanks to Lakme moisturizing products multiplied by Moist moisturizing, even though it appears to be dead wood.

Thinking about how Moist keeps the creases in my hair, I thought, What if Moist is a soul-fixing product? My curls were curled. Nope, they disintegrated rather rapidly. The ends also became extremely stiff and dry. In other words, using a curling iron with moist is too much for it; you can still dry it with a hairdryer.

Here is hair with Moist on the final day of the "marathon" week following the tandem of Kaaral Royal Jelly Cream and Kaaral Maraes, which performed a necessary rescue operation after curling, approximately one hour after drying:

Now, carefully compare these images to the initial ones, but note the oil stain.

After utilizing this leave-in for a week, my overall impression was: I felt nothing when I first bought it and used it haphazardly. Because of this, there was a prejudice that said this was garbage and wouldn’t work. However, after a week, I discovered that while there is an effect, it is only tactile and of excellent quality on my hair. Even in the evening, hair (including the ends) remained soft and pleasant to the touch, with the exception of one instance when I scheduled a test drive with a curling iron.

Nothing about me is visually appealing; everything curls, fluffs up, and has a life of its own. It holds curly hair poorly, but it holds an unintentionally made bun perfectly. In order for everything to eventually settle down, I really wanted to smear some oil—preferably a thicker kind. However, I persisted.

Conclusion

In spite of my preconceived notions, the Moist Essence is good; it appears to improve the quality of the hair by leaving it hydrated and supple, which reduces breakage and split ends. However, on me at least, there isn’t a visual. Points for creases and the absence of the promised "extra shine," I’ll give it a 4.

Each of the four Lebel leave-in hair products had a different effect after four weeks of use. Depending on the needs of each individual hair type, the results varied, offering a distinct benefit such as moisture and shine or improved manageability and texture. Below is a brief summary of each product’s performance along with recommendations for different hair types.

Week two. Sleek. When you are omnipotent

Your hands were reaching for something oily after a week of using a creamy leave-in, so whatever!

Description from the manufacturer:

  • Removes fluffiness and smoothes the outer structure of the hair
  • Keeps hair young, prevents thinning of the structure
  • Restores hydrolipid balance
  • Gives hair a glossy shine
  • Envelops hair, making combing and styling easier
  • Protects from aggressive environmental influences and thermal effects, from UV rays
  • Prevents absorption of unpleasant external odors

Sounds enticing, particularly the glossy sheen after Moist—I really desired sheen.)

Light, slightly viscous, transparent leave-in consistency; my personal dosage is two to three pumps on damp hair and one to one and a half on dry hair. Shea butter, jojoba oil, avocado oil, and cell membrane complex are the active ingredients.

Stronger scent than Moist, with a hint of tropical fruit infused into the flowers. I don’t really like the Sleek smell in general.

Actions in order: spray, apply to damp hair, and then let it dry.

You can use the final images from the Moist section for the "BEFORE" picture.

Upon the Lakme ampoule:

Well, this is really amazing! After the moisturizing process, you have to know how to smooth it like that! Really "smoothes the outer structure of the hair and removes fluff." Yes, the protruding hair does occasionally break the surface, but this is normal for them when they are tamed. By the way, following the Redken Conditioner with the Ollin Active Complex, I experienced a similar outcome. Hair is notably smoother and more "slippery," allowing fingers to easily glide across the canvas. You want to run your fingers through your hair’s silky strands and touch it all over.

The final day of the Sleek marathon using Lebel IAU Cream Melt Repair, a "native" Aroma cream:

Hi sofa!

Considering a certain amount of hair porosity and their insatiable desire to curl CGM, stubble sticks out when eating, but by my standards, this is essentially a good result. I’ll see you someday.

Impressions and a conclusion right away

Sleek really smoothes hair—no, it SMOOTHES hair—and leaves it incredibly flowing and smooth. I’m really happy with it. It would be perfect if it had the scent of a sea breeze. Furthermore, Sleek uses less product than Moist; I’ve never had enough of the latter, as it seemed like not all hair received enough. The first time I overdid it with Sleek, I enthusiastically pressed four clicks. Let’s say five. In general, my personal taste in scents shouldn’t affect an unbiased evaluation of the product’s efficacy.

Week three. Forti. What was it

Word to the manufacturer:

  • Restores and strengthens the structure of thin and weakened hair
  • Keeps hair young, prevents thinning of the structure
  • Makes hair elastic, silky, dense and shiny
  • Protects hair from aggressive environmental factors and UV rays
  • Prevents static
  • Prevents absorption of unpleasant external odors
  • SPF 30

Cream with a light, thin consistency. Mine is two to three pumps on wet hair and one pump on dry hair. Shea butter, hydrolyzed keratin, avocado oil, glycerin, and cell membrane complex are the active ingredients.

Floral scent, reminiscent of moistness.

Application order: after spraying, apply to damp hair; after drying, apply to dry hair.

This is a glaring misinterpretation of the situation. After the Lakme ampoules, Forti smoothed it nicely but did not do anything else. Visual is inferior to Moist. To be more exact, hair exists, but it is "nothing" in the wake of anything.

I gave up posting more pictures after Forti because, no matter how well-groomed it is, the hair in every one of them is useless.

Conclusion and impressions

There was nothing wrong with Forti (dryness, overdrinking). However, I also did not notice or experience anything amazing, particularly in the lower 15 cm. The purpose of the leave-in is to strengthen; perhaps it merely has a lasting impact? I’m not sure; obviously, it’s difficult to comprehend in a week. However, I’ll keep using it and try to make friends since it’s there. I’m going to give it a preliminary 4-out of 10, assuming that it has a cumulative effect on hair quality.

Week four. Serum Oil. But I emphasize your individuality

I am unique.

Description from the manufacturer:

  • Moisturizes, smoothes and restores the structure of dry, damaged, unruly, porous, weakened hair.
  • Protects against aggressive environmental factors and thermal effects.
  • Gives hair a glossy shine, smoothes out frizz.
  • SPF30.
  • How to use: Evenly distribute the essence over damp hair, starting from the ends, along the entire length (2 presses of the dispenser for medium-length hair). Start styling. To add extra shine to your hair, apply a small amount (1 pump) to already dried hair.

Light, runny, transparent oil essence consistency Dosage (using my method): apply 1-2 pumps to dry hair and 2-3 pumps to damp hair. Vitamin E, Inca Inchi seed oil, and Cell Membrane Complex are the active ingredients.

This smell is interesting; it’s bright and strong, but oddly enough, despite my dislike of floral scents, I enjoyed it. It took me a month to realize why, but I can definitely "hear" honeysuckle. Like all of the aforementioned leave-in products, the scent generally fades quickly.

Identify the source of this crazy fluff.

Yes, right after the Lakme ampoules. After that, it somewhat decreased, but the volume and waves followed me until I washed.

And even though things have improved since Aroma cream Lebel IAU Cream Melt Repair, nature still has an impact:

After an additional treatment, the image is essentially unchanged.

Conclusion and impressions

All things considered, this leave-in is excellent; however, if you prefer a smooth surface, I believe it will work best for you if your surface is naturally smooth. Serum Oil cannot stop my hair from following its own rules; it likes to curl and fluff, especially in humid weather. It smells amazing, moisturizes, softens, and protects the ends perfectly. I really can’t find anything negative to say about it. Let’s go with a 5-star rating since I don’t think it’s appropriate to penalize products that aren’t perfect for MY hair.

Week Product and Impressions
Week 1 Lebel IAU Essence Sleek – My hair felt smoother and more manageable. Perfect for taming frizz.
Week 2 Lebel IAU Essence Moist – Added noticeable hydration. My hair looked shinier and healthier.
Week 3 Lebel IAU Cell Care 5 – Gave a deep nourishing effect. My hair felt soft and strong.
Week 4 Lebel IAU Essence Forti – My hair gained volume and felt lightweight, with a healthy bounce.

It’s evident that each of the four Lebel leave-in hair products offers something different after using them for four weeks. While some products added shine or volume, others stood out for their moisturizing properties. It truly depends on the requirements of your hair.

In general, Lebel products have shown to be dependable and adaptable. There appears to be a choice for everyone, regardless of whether your objective is to hydrate, strengthen, or simply maintain the health of your hair. They were also simple to incorporate into daily routines due to their lightweight textures.

These are worth a try if you’re looking to invest in high-quality hair care. Each one lives up to expectations, providing various advantages to address a range of hair issues.
