Flario never ceases to amaze! Thickening conditioner from Limba Cosmetics. Was it able to thicken thin hair?

Flario is constantly searching for the newest and greatest hair care product, and this time, we’re interested in Limba Cosmetics’ Thickening Conditioner. The allure of having fuller, thicker hair is too good to pass up for anyone with thin hair. Is this product, however, worth the hype?

Few conditioners truly produce long-lasting effects, despite their many claims to increase volume. The Thickening Conditioner from Limba Cosmetics stands out for its audacious claims and specially formulated formula meant for fine hair. We were interested to see if it could actually make a difference, of course.

We’ll go into great detail about this well-liked product in this post and talk about our experience using it on thin hair. Was the thickening as promised, or is this just another conditioner that makes fictitious claims? Come with me as we investigate!

Getting to know Limba Cosmetics

What is the known history of the brand?

The company’s tagline, "True Beauty is Found Within," translates to "True beauty is within" in English. It’s undeniably a very lovely slogan! These words seem so simple, yet they hold such immense power! I appreciate that this is a company that has grown steadily over time; they are not a "one-day" operation, and they have a solid understanding of their industry. Care (technical shampoos, hair masks as the final step after hot procedures) and master compositions were the first to be introduced, followed by the home version.

I learned that, after washing off the composition, they performed a Limba mask for me during my final keratin procedure. I really enjoyed it! It surprised me.

Looking at the selection, we can see a ton of hair masks, three lines of hair care products for at-home use, an organic line (which isn’t really organic), a premium line, activators, botox, and keratins for hair. I tell you, it’s quite a cool assortment. It makes me smile to know that I can still purchase high-quality hair care products here.

By the way, the organic line’s mango-flavored heat protection cream piqued my curiosity! A lot of hair masks come in sachets, so I also intend to try those.

Although it is not yet in my order, the heat protection cream is already on my wish list.)

Since there are no reviews for this cosmetics, I will do the research for you.

Bodifying Conditioner

A brief history of why I first became familiar with the brand through it.

Three home hair care product lines from Limba Cosmetics include:

  1. Detox line designed for hair prone to oiliness. The conditioner in this line is moisturizing.
  2. Hydration line designed for dry and normal scalp. Conditioner in This line is nutritious.
  3. Volume line designed for hair prone to oiliness, for fine hair. The conditioner in this line is thickening.

I read, considered, and finally decided on a thickening conditioner. First and foremost, I considered a product of this kind to be a priority.

What does the manufacturer know?

Composition:

Hydrogenated vegetable oil, beeswax, hydrogenated palm acid, microcrystalline wax, PPG-3 caprylyl ether, behentrimonium chloride, glyceryl monostearate, Polyquaternium-7, glycerin, and cetrimonium chloride Coconut oil (Cocos nucifera), mango seed oil (Mangifera indica), Aroma, Hydrolyzed Keratin, Hydrolyzed Collagen, Hydroxyethylcellulose, Benzyl Alcohol, Guar Hydroxypropyltrimonium Chloride, Methylchloroisothiazolinone, Methylisothiazolinone, Limonene, Linalool, CI 14720, CI 42090.

To be honest, I think the composition is pretty good. Naturally, I try not to make assumptions about the composition without doing some research first, but the wax in the composition was the only thing that alarmed me. Naturally, I will then let you know if my suspicions were validated.

The manufacturer claims that it is safe for daily use and can help with weight loss with consistent use, which surprised me as well. It goes without saying that I alternate it and advise you to do the same; I never considered using it daily.

The fact that "green silicone" (PPG-3 Caprylyl Ether) works wonders on my hair and can be removed with any shampoo made me very happy.

Organoleptics and packaging

Simply glance at the packaging!

It now proudly displays itself in my bathroom—a minimalist’s paradise! Fantastic shade of lavender. It smells creamy with hints of fruit, by the way. The scent is subtle, not overbearing, and practically disappears from the hair.

I was wondering if there was a small flip-flop lid when I was driving home. But what surprised me was that there was nothing on my neck. However, the jar slides out of there easily because it is made of soft plastic.

The consistency of the conditioner is perfect! The consistency of the conditioner is light and somewhat akin to yogurt, with a moderately oily thickness that seems to melt into the palms.

The Flario thickening conditioner from Limba Cosmetics has been making waves because it claims to give thin, lifeless hair a fuller, more voluminous appearance. Does it, however, actually function? We tested it to see if this product is as good as it seems, and the findings may surprise you!

Use and impressions

Everything proceeds according to plan. I chose the Insight "Daily Use" shampoo and conditioner to go together.

Whether or not it could warrant the term "conditioner" piqued my curiosity.

I wet my hair and apply the conditioner. By the way, I really appreciate that I can change my dosage because it allows me to avoid squeezing out too much and easily add more if necessary.

I can already feel the hair starting to soften and become covered in a yogurt-like consistency after application. Additionally, they absorb it without difficulty, and emulsification is unproblematic. I adore conditioners that have this effect—you can feel how every hair tip is maximally covered—and this one detangles hair effectively. When combing, it "backcombs" a little foam.

I made an effort to use the conditioner for three minutes, and even longer—roughly seven minutes. Of course, there is a slight variation in the outcome, but the conditioner proved to be outstanding even after a brief holding period.

I realize that while it conditions the hair well and even slightly alkalizes it, it is not as effective as Insight when I begin to wash it off. When wet, they feel incredibly soft and pleasant to the touch, so it’s definitely not worse. It just goes about things differently. This seems to be caused by the different consistency of the two products—Limba is creamier, while Insight is more liquid and gel-like.

Fingers easily slide through the hair after washing, leaving a silky canvas behind. Moreover, there is no waxiness, which I was quite terrified of! Furthermore, silicone softness is absent. In a bar with a BTMS, the effect is more akin to a solid conditioner. Something akin to a natural softness, minus the cinematic quality.

It cleans up easily! There’s no oiliness, and it washes off quickly and easily from the back as well as the hair. This is a big plus if, like me, you don’t like to wash everything off for three hours at a time.

I was enthralled with the effect after I dried my hair! I used Davines OI milk to dry it. In addition to being as thick as possible, the hair is completely smooth and free of "icicles," with the conditioner not "eating" away at its volume. It feels nice and heavy, and even the ends are getting thicker (it will be three months before a haircut).

And above all, it’s very manageable hair! Style is simple. This is a great feature if you’re pressed for time and don’t have time to thoroughly dry your hair—many movements with a comb are required. Let’s say that following a few conditioners, you need to use a comb a little more to achieve the desired level of smoothness, particularly if there are problematic strands where the tip is inward. In this case, you can relax a little.

They shimmer, so smooth and soft, and this unexpected comparison just happened. In terms of how it affected my hair, it was similar to the Davines OI conditioner in that my hair is smooth, not glued, and has weight in addition to being 50% nourished and moisturized. While there are a few more films in Davines OI, this place has a very peaceful atmosphere.

Though they are not as noticeable in real life as they are in the light, the newly grown hair gets in the way of my attempts to capture the effect in the picture. The air conditioner is seen in the picture left on for five minutes.

The result is pleasing even with keratin, which was applied a long time ago and considering nearly daily washing! in particular, the ends! Hair to hair, the hair resembles "strings," and the entire effect is achieved without the hair appearing incredibly heavy—rather, it is merely pleasantly heavy.
