Thus, continue reading to find out what Olaplex can do for your hair and how to use it in your routine. We’re here to explain why Olaplex has become a hair enthusiast’s and professional’s go-to product.

A brief overview of my hair

A method existed to escape a protracted darkness. Two lightnings with powder along the whole length, and two acid washes. More about my hair history can be found here. I now tone and lighten my roots with a special blond every month. Olaplex has a lot of work ahead of it, as you can see.

The tasks that I set for the Olaplex line of products

To lessen or even prevent excessive breakage. I intend to start growing the length and cut the ends less frequently as a result. Although I’m not expecting a WOW moment, having respectable-looking hair would be nice.

My plan for using the care system

I believe it makes sense to use all of the Olaplex products at once in a single wash. For example, I don’t use third-party products if I use Olaplex today. I believe that the impact will be more noticeable.

I used the system every other wash for the first month. Every third or fourth wash after that. Now let’s get started! I will begin to inform you in chronological order without requiring an SMS or registration.

Hair Perfector No.3 or in the Russian version Elixir “Perfection of Hair”

Technical characteristics.

Composition of Olaplex 3 Hair Perfector

Aqua (water), Quaternium-91, Sodium Benzoate, Cetrimonium Methosulfate, Phenoxyethanol, Glycerin, Hydroxyethyl Ethylcellulose, Bis-Aminopropyl Diglycol Dimaleate, Propylene Glycol, Cetearyl Alcohol, Behentrimonium Methosulfate, Cetyl Alcohol chloride of cetrimonium, Tetrasodium EDTA, Polyquaternium-37, Butylphenyl Methylpropional, Etidronic Acid, Phytantriol, Tocopheryl Acetate (Vitamin E), Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice, Panthenol, Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil, Citric Acid, and Potassium Sorbate are all listed in the fragrance (parfum) composition.

This is a tiny 100 milliliter plastic jar that is nearly white in color. There is a white, rather liquid substance inside. It smells clean, fresh, and sweet; unlike other products in the line, which I’ll talk about later, it doesn’t make me think of anything in particular.

Application

Application of Olaplex No. 3 from the manufacturer

One or two times per week. After towel-drying damp hair, apply and let sit for ten minutes. Apply again and let sit for an additional ten minutes if the damage to your hair is severe. Olaplex shampoo number 4, conditioner number 5, leave-in cream number 6, and/or restorative oil number 7 should be used to finish the care.

Applying No. 3 BEFORE washing is advised by the manufacturer to fortify hair and get ready for further procedures. In other words, not an air conditioner or a mask. In essence, this is pre-shampoo. It is significant that the active ingredient comes in second right after the water.

I first wash my hair with any shampoo because I’ve been using a lot of different techniques lately. I also use multi-layer care products like oil, cream, and spray. Olaplex, I fear, just will not be able to penetrate this armor. In the event of an abundance of styling products, the company itself does not forbid doing this.

I tried using Olaplex shampoo and my regular shampoos up to number three on my hair, but it had no effect on the outcome.

I then use a towel to remove any extra moisture from my hair before applying number 3. Because the product has such a small volume, I try to apply it all over my hair very evenly, paying special attention to the ends. After that, I cover everything with a cap and preheat it with an electric cap. Heat is not necessary, but it is also not forbidden. Ten minutes is the minimum recommended holding time; the maximum duration is not specified. I hold it for thirty minutes to an hour, that’s how mysterious it is all together.

Shampoo needs to be used to remove Olaplex #3. I would only use Olaplex shampoo to remove it if I could use any shampoo up to number 3. The length doesn’t lather on me. just the roots.

Result

I feel those same KGM swollen algae right away after shampooing off the composition. incredibly flexible and elastic hair when wet. For me, this is an entirely new sensation. This isn’t how slipperiness usually is after masks. There appears to be more hair. It seems as though you can end it there. However, I am aware that this sensation is unreal and that a mask or conditioner is required.

I wanted to try Olaplex number 3 with products from third parties just for fun. We used the Lebel Bounce Fit mask and Wella nourishing shampoo. That is what took place.

And this is the identical Lebel Soft Fit mask and Wella shampoo.

I think this is a great result for my hair that was damaged by three lightning strikes and several washes. Yes, the ends are missing in some spots and have gone for a walk, but where the hair has already broken off, no product can regrow it. The hair almost fits into the category of "simply colored hair" based on tactile perceptions, which makes me happy!

Shampoo No.4 Bond Maintenance Shampoo

Technical characteristics.

Composition No 4 Bond Maintenance Shampoo

Water, Cetearyl Alcohol, PPG-3 Benzyl Ether Myristate, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Cetyl Alcohol, Octyldodecyl Ricinoleate, Quaternium-91, Cetrimonium Chloride, Divinyldimethicone/Dimethicone Copolymer, Behentrimonium Chloride, Glycerin, Cetyl Esters, Isododecane, Bis-Aminopropyl Di glycol Dimaleate , Fragrance, Panthenol, Phospholipids, Dimethicone PEG-7 Isostearate, Pseudozyma Epicola/Argania Spinosa Kernel Oil Ferment Filtrate, Pseudozyma Epicola/Camellia Sinensis Seed Oil Ferment Extract Filtrate, Tocopheryl Linoleate/Oleate, Quaternium-95, Propanediol, Punica Granatum Extract, Morinda Citrifolia Fruit Extract, PEG-8, Euterpe Oleracea Fruit Extract, Camellia Sinensis Seed Oil, Crambe Abyssinica Seed Oil, Hydroxypropyl Cyclodextrin, Persea Gratissima (Avocado) Oil, Vitis Vinifera (Grape) Seed Oil, Disodium EDTA, Polysilicone-15, C11-15 Pareth-7 Hydroxypropyl Guar,Glycine Soja (Soybean) Oil, PEG-45M, PEG-7 Amodimethicone, Amodimethicone, C12-13 Pareth-23, C12-13 Pareth-3, Laureth-9, Pentaerythrityl Tetra-Di-T-Butyl Hydroxyhydrocinnamate, PEG-4, Phenoxyethanol, Hexyl Cinnamal

Shampoo without sulfates, packaged in a jar substantially bigger than Olaplex #3. However, everything is executed in a rigidly minimalistic manner. I notice that the shampoo is somewhat mother-of-pearl in color. It’s practically opaque. It has an extremely thick—dense, if you will—consistency. more robust than some masks. I knew right away on the first use that you don’t need much of it. However, even after realizing this, I still went overboard with the quantity! You really don’t need much of it—especially since I used shampoo to wash before applying number three. In conclusion, this concentrated product is incredibly cost-effective.

Inhale. The smell of tomato seedlings is a mystery to us. This shampoo has a scent similar to that of the conditioner and creamy leave-in, and it also has a hint of perfume in it, so Olaplex doesn’t smell exactly like tomato seedlings. In any case, this smell is really pleasing to the senses; I just associate it with something intriguing.

Application

Application of shampoo from the manufacturer

After completing Olaplex No. 3 care, lightly shampoo damp hair.or as a stand-alone item for regular usage. Make a good lather and rinse with water. Use the conditioner Olaplex No. 5.

I wash my hair with water and apply soap to the roots when I have number three on my head. Immediately, a dense cap of extremely fine foam forms. I simply let it roll along the length. The shampoo does not cause the hair to become parched throughout, nor does it cause creasing at the roots. "However, there was number three on the hair!" was probably what you thought. I used Olaplex shampoo, but it didn’t work for number 3. The length does not become dry or turn into wet tow even after this.

Result

One would assume that if the shampoo leaves the roots unwashed until they squeak, this would have an impact on how often you need to wash your hair and increase the frequency of washing. At first, I believed that, but I was mistaken! Happily, I was mistaken. As I washed it, I washed my hair every other day. Surprisingly, I even managed to achieve a slight volume at the roots of my thin, straight hair—a supernatural occurrence.

Conditioner No.5 Bond Maintenance Conditioner

Technical characteristics.

Composition of Bond Maintenance Conditioner

Water, Cetearyl Alcohol, PPG-3 Benzyl Ether Myristate, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Cetyl Alcohol, Octyldodecyl Ricinoleate, Quaternium-91, Cetrimonium Chloride, Divinyldimethicone/Dimethicone Copolymer, Behentrimonium Chloride, Glycerin, Cetyl Esters, Isododecane, Bis-Aminopropyl Di glycol Dimaleate , Fragrance, Panthenol, Phospholipids, Dimethicone PEG-7 Isostearate, Pseudozyma Epicola/Argania Spinosa Kernel Oil Ferment Filtrate, Pseudozyma Epicola/Camellia Sinensis Seed Oil Ferment Extract Filtrate, Tocopheryl Linoleate/Oleate, Quaternium-95, Propanediol, Punica Granatum Extract, Morinda Citrifolia Fruit Extract, PEG-8, Euterpe Oleracea Fruit Extract, Camellia Sinensis Seed Oil, Crambe Abyssinica Seed Oil, Hydroxypropyl Cyclodextrin, Persea Gratissima (Avocado) Oil, Vitis Vinifera (Grape) Seed Oil, Disodium EDTA, Polysilicone-15, C11-15 Pareth-7 Hydroxypropyl Guar,Glycine Soja (Soybean) Oil, PEG-45M, PEG-7 Amodimethicone, Amodimethicone, C12-13 Pareth-23, C12-13 Pareth-3, Laureth-9, Pentaerythrityl Tetra-Di-T-Butyl Hydroxyhydrocinnamate, PEG-4, Phenoxyethanol, Hexyl Cinnamal

Classic white laconic jar. This conditioner has a consistency similar to a mask—it’sthickand greasy—despite being a conditioner. A drop doesn’t even remotely spread. The shampoo and tomato seedlings have the same scent. Olaplex obstinately transports me back to my happy childhood memories and my grandmother Dacha.

Application

About the use of the conditioner from the manufacturer

· After using Olaplex No. 4, liberally coat the entire length of hair with conditioner. After three minutes, remove with a water rinse. To make using it easier, store the bottle upside down.

Use a towel to gently remove any extra moisture from my hair after shampooing. Remember that after shampoo and number three, the hair is already incredibly nice at this point. I’m excited to feel what comes after the conditioner!

I use emulsifying motions to thoroughly coat my hair in conditioner. I apply it almost all the way down my hair, with a tiny retraction toward the roots. Ultimately, my hair is broken and damaged all the way around. After that, everything is as it should be: a shower cap and 20 to 30 minutes of heat under an electric cap.

Result

Joy! As I had anticipated, the conditioner completed the task that earlier products had begun. I get much thicker hair when I’m wet. Not rigid, but neither feeble. elastic; even with your fingers, it’s simple to comb. Quite hefty.

Leave-in cream No. 6 Bond Smoother

A white cream, that is. greasy and thick. a little bit like conditioner Olaplex. It has the same scent as conditioner and shampoo. What do we all remember?

Application

Application of No 6 Bond Smoother from the manufacturer.

Wet or dry hair should have a small amount of Olaplex No. 6 applied throughout the length, with special attention to the ends. Using a comb, distribute the product evenly. After drying, style your hair.

I use a towel to blot the hair after completely washing out the conditioner. Separate the hair into two sections. For one area of the hair, I use one pea-sized drop. This drop requires a thorough rub in your palms due to its thick consistency. Because of its slick creaminess, it is evenly distributed and feels like it covers every hair. Wet hair consequently takes on a slightly heavier appearance and, if you understand what I mean, appears to be in good condition.

Olaplex is a hair care game-changer, providing cutting-edge methods for strengthening and repairing damaged hair. This post will explain what Olaplex is, explain how it reconstructs the internal structure of hair, and explain why it’s become a necessity for getting healthier, glossier hair. We’ll also go over its advantages, possible disadvantages, and practical application advice to help you achieve the greatest outcomes.

Restorative oil No.7 Bonding Oil "Drop of Perfection"

Specifications.

Composition of Olaplex No 7 oil.

Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil, Beta-Carotene, Dimethicone, Isohexadecane, C13–14 Isoparaffin, Coco-Caprylate, Phenyl Trimethicone, Bis-Aminopropyl Diglycol Dimaleate, Propanediol, Zea Mays (Corn) Oil, Morinda Citrifolia Fruit Powder, Fragrance (Parfum), Pseudozyma Epicola/Camellia Sinensis Seed Oil Ferment Extract Filtrate, Hexyl Cinnamal, Eclipta Prostrata Extract, Ethylhexyl Methoxycinnamate, Limonene, Tocopherol, Citral, Linalool, Melia Azadirachta Leaf Extract, Citronellol, and Citral

A screw-on lid for a plastic jar containing yellow oil. Consistency: extremely liquid, slightly thicker than water. Its scent is somewhat sweet and cosmetic, similar to other items in this line. P — simplicity of design: The dispenser is just a tiny hole in the bottle from which you must "knock out" the oil by inverting the bottle and tapping on its bottom. According to the manufacturer, the oil is heat-resistant up to 230 degrees.

Application

Application of Olaplex No.7 oil from the manufacturer.

1. Take off the safety cover. To release drops of the product, turn the bottle over and lightly tap the base with your index finger. 2. Using a tiny amount, style your damp or dry hair as desired after applying the product. The length and texture of the hair dictate how much product is used. Pro tip: To give your hair unparalleled shine, add a few drops of the product to OLAPLEX No. 6.

Using the oil prior to drying makes sense, since it claims to provide heat protection up to 230 degrees. However, I have cream No. 6 that needs to dry. Since I don’t frequently use curling irons or straighteners and instead air dry my hair, I don’t think heat protection is that important. However, as the manufacturer suggests, I combine a few drops of oil with cream No. 6. 3 oil drops or so for each serving of cream.

In addition, I use oil No. 7 on my dry hair, being especially careful around the ends. Since the hair is broken down along its entire length, I go through the remaining oil through the entire hair, avoiding the area from the ear and above. I evenly distribute and warm up six to seven drops of oil in my hands before applying it to my dry hair.

Separately, I would like to emphasize that you should not be misled by the oil’s lightness and wateriness. Although it might seem like you need a lot of this liquid product, this is untrue. You could go overboard. It is therefore best to start with a small amount, spread it throughout your hair, and then add more if necessary.

Results after 2 months of using the Olaplex system

Maybe I should start with the last image. I’ll compare it right away to my hair before utilizing the Olaplex maintenance regimen.

Using the complete care system in a few more pictures.

As you can see from the face in the hair. I can tell that my hair and appearance have significantly improved when I look at my own photo. This is true even though Olaplex, to be honest, doesn’t provide me with the best visual quality possible.

It is worthwhile to discuss tactile feelings separately in light of Olaplex’s withdrawal. All the conditions were present while washing the head, indicating that the hair would be more compacted. And in reality, it worked out. They seem more since they are elastic and dense. The hair is lied upon the hair. The pigtail appeared thicker as well. I miss the volume of the roots.

I saw a cumulative effect from hair products for the first time in my Hairmania life and I thought it was real. The second washing still feels the effects of Olaplex when I use other methods. The third is beginning to wane.

And what about the hair’s brittleness? I can firmly state that I was able to lower my hair breakage by using all of the Olaplex products together on a regular basis. I didn’t think the ends of the last haircut were particularly bad; they could be pulled out. My main motivation for cutting them is to even out the previously broken front strands with the main length. This is how the photo appeared PRIOR to the haircut. And in this precise instance, the visual is superior to what it was following Olaplex.
