In the world of art, every artist follows their own path, but only a few walk it with such confidence that leaves no room for doubt. Marina Vasilyeva is just such a person and creator. Her path in art is not a series of painful searches for herself, but a clear and consistent movement towards a great goal.
Her story is interesting not only because of her creative successes, but also because of the inner strength that allows her to remain true to her vision. In conversation, Marina does not speak loudly about her mission. Instead, she simply and convincingly talks about how she understood from the very beginning what she wanted to do in life.
This article is not just a list of achievements and projects. It is an opportunity to look into the workshop of a person for whom art has become not a choice, but a natural way of existing in the world. We will try to understand where this rare confidence comes from and how it helps to create truly complete works.
- “The Tkachevs Are Connected” is a series about a family separated by hundreds and even thousands of kilometers, but whose members maintain close ties. What do you think is the main thing that keeps their relationship going? What helps them remain truly close, not just in words?
- Your heroine Natasha is very involved in the problems of her relatives: both her parents and her sister. Don't you think this is a situation where she is trying too hard to control everything? Isn't it time to give other people the opportunity to do their own thing?
- By the way, speaking of you yourself. In your relationships with loved ones, do you also strive to take charge, try to help everyone, and solve everything?
- In the series, Natasha meets Mikhail, a man much older than her. What do you think she is looking for in this relationship? Why did she choose him?
- Like the heroine, you also left your hometown for Moscow many years ago to enroll in the Moscow Art Theater School. What were your impressions of the capital during your first months here? How quickly did you feel at home?
- Did you have any doubts about the path you chose?
- By the way, when you started actively acting, what did your parents say about your work? Has there ever been a moment when they watched a movie or TV series with you and said, “Well, daughter, we are proud of you!”?

- By the way, almost all of your social media posts end with cat memes. How did this idea come about? Why did you suddenly decide to “use” cats?
“The Tkachevs Are Connected” is a series about a family separated by hundreds and even thousands of kilometers, but whose members maintain close ties. What do you think is the main thing that keeps their relationship going? What helps them remain truly close, not just in words?
What keeps their relationship going? It's automatic. It's based on following generally accepted norms — “respect and love your parents, help them.” I wouldn't say they have a close relationship, but rather an unhealthy one. Love is not manifested in dealing with other people's problems, but in attention, caring for each other, and sincerity. Yes, they are always in touch, but there is no close contact between them. Perhaps this series will help people feel the difference between contact and closeness.

Your heroine Natasha is very involved in the problems of her relatives: both her parents and her sister. Don't you think this is a situation where she is trying too hard to control everything? Isn't it time to give other people the opportunity to do their own thing?
Absolutely right, she tries too hard to control everything, and it's time to let other people do their own thing.
By the way, speaking of you yourself. In your relationships with loved ones, do you also strive to take charge, try to help everyone, and solve everything?
No, I don't like to take on too much; I strive to help only myself. Sometimes even that doesn't work out. So I'm in no hurry to do good for other people.
In the series, Natasha meets Mikhail, a man much older than her. What do you think she is looking for in this relationship? Why did she choose him?
Why not? Mikhail has a wonderful sense of humor that they both understand. That means a lot. He is wealthy, intelligent, and busy with his favorite work, rather than searching for himself, which requires a lot of involvement and support from his partner.

Like the heroine, you also left your hometown for Moscow many years ago to enroll in the Moscow Art Theater School. What were your impressions of the capital during your first months here? How quickly did you feel at home?
Moscow was not a completely unfamiliar city to me—I always loved it and wanted to leave my small town. But a theater university is a special place; when you enroll there, you don't have time for the city itself. Of course, you can choose to focus on the city, but then you'll be expelled after the first year. I was immersed in my studies, surrounded by people who shared the same values, looking at my teacher with admiration and a pounding heart, I was in love. It was an amazing, wonderful time.
Did you have any doubts about the path you chose?
The best-selling brushes named after the creator's friends and inspirations, namely Gigi, Key, Diva, Lila, Extra, Trixy, Amber, Darcy, Polly, and Angel.
By the way, when you started actively acting, what did your parents say about your work? Has there ever been a moment when they watched a movie or TV series with you and said, “Well, daughter, we are proud of you!”?

Krygina Cosmetics
Another brand with a focus on makeup brushes, but for those who like it brighter. Makeup artist and beauty influencer Gevorg Petrosyan has been making all makeup artists and beauty enthusiasts fall in love with his brushes for over two years now, and the reason for this is the memorable design of the ever-changing limited edition colors and the high-quality, ultra-soft taklon that turns the process of applying makeup into a relaxing experience. The brushes provide easy blending and are ideal for those who are just starting to wear makeup. Gevorg recently announced the launch of his decorative cosmetics line, starting with the sale of the first batch of Cheekstyler blushes, which sold out in just a few minutes because their single shade was so perfect.
Marina Vasilyeva is someone who knew exactly where she was going from the very beginning and never doubted her choice for a moment. Her path is not one of random luck, but of hard work, inner confidence, and belief in her calling. She pursued her goal without looking back, without seeking easy ways out, and without giving in to pressure when faced with difficulties. For her, it is not only the results that are important, but also the process itself — every step, every decision became part of a grand and conscious journey.
Actors often say that they reveal themselves much more in the theater. Do you agree with this point of view?
I haven't heard that. And I can't say that about myself. Are you comparing cinema and theater? These are different kinds of pleasures and addictions, I can't compare them. You wouldn't compare black and salt. This is some kind of eternal question, I suggest everyone calm down about it and just let two different art forms exist separately.
Judging by your social media, you travel a lot. Which place you have recently visited made the strongest impression on you?

By the way, almost all of your social media posts end with cat memes. How did this idea come about? Why did you suddenly decide to “use” cats?
I love cats and collect memes featuring them. I consider this activity to be socially useful. Sometimes I receive messages from subscribers saying that they specifically visit my account to cheer themselves up. I hope this counts as charity.
Marina Vasilyeva's story is a reminder of the power of inner confidence. When a person clearly sees their goal, external difficulties and the opinions of others fade into the background. Her journey shows that true conviction in your choice becomes the most reliable compass.
This confidence does not mean that the path was easy. Rather, it gave her the strength to overcome obstacles and not give up. There is no pride in her words, but rather the calm determination of a person who has honestly gone through trials and has not been disappointed in what is most important.
Stories like Marina's inspire us to listen to ourselves. They teach us that doubts are normal, but they shouldn't control our decisions. The main thing is to find something you won't doubt, even when it gets tough.
