Davines. Hair care regimen with Essential Haircare and NaturalTech

Davines is known for producing hair care products that promote sustainability in addition to improving appearance. Their method offers efficient solutions for various hair types and concerns by fusing innovative science with natural ingredients.

We’ll look at two of their best-selling lines in this article: NaturalTech and Essential Haircare. Whether you’re looking for targeted treatments for more serious issues like thinning or damaged hair, or you just need daily nourishment, these collections are made to address specific hair needs.

You can guarantee healthier, more colorful hair and promote eco-friendly practices by learning how to put together a comprehensive hair care routine using these products.

With its Essential Haircare and NaturalTech lines, Davines provides a distinctive hair care routine that uses natural, sustainably sourced ingredients to protect and nourish hair. NaturalTech takes care of particular problems with the hair and scalp, like thinning hair or dandruff, while Essential Haircare concentrates on daily requirements, offering protection, volume, and hydration. When used in tandem, these products offer a customizable routine that strikes a balance between sustainability, performance, and beauty, making it simple to maintain vibrant, healthy hair.

About me. Hair type and needs

I am Katya with pimples.)

My hair is natural, so it doesn’t bother me in any way; it grows at a hospital-average rate and doesn’t split or fall out.

"Woman, what do you want?" – ask yourself. Like in the Gliss Kur commercial, smoothness!

I discovered that I had been living with porous hair for the entire time when I visited the portal in August of last year.

As a result, it was challenging to obtain the appropriate smoothness with little effort. I made a care plan and stocked up on new products, but. As it happened, I relocated to the sea in November. I brought some hair products, of course, but I wasn’t prepared to bring a lot of jars because I didn’t know how to take care of hair in a humid climate, so I had to make almost all of my purchases there.

Davines was the obvious choice because, 1) I can afford it, and 2) I’ve wanted to try it for a long time.

That concludes our discussion of the background; let’s now go over the products. I will only make a few brief observations about the compositions because my analysis of them is lacking.

Active energy shampoo NaturalTech Energizing

I’ll get right to the cards that show who wins. I brought Kaaral Reale shampoo with me on the trip, and it worked well for me overall. I purchased Kerastase Discipline as a replacement, and it ended up being the worst shampoo I’ve ever used. And after perusing reviews for a while, I decided to buy Davines.

Just give your hair a wash! My personal experience indicates that I don’t require any unique nutrition, unraveling, or marketing effects. The advice in my first parish here was to stay away from shampoo as much as possible, but no, thank you, this is still not mine (I checked on Angel Provence, Angel Prof, and Insight). Without silicones, I am ideologically closer to myself, but I have no fear of others.

The manufacturer is proud of their product: a shampoo that fortifies weak hair, stops it from falling out, and increases microcirculation.

I applaud him for actually stopping his episodes of fear! I want to be clear that I do not have hair loss; when I wash my hair, some of it naturally falls out. But with this shampoo, they stay in place!

I have one or two hairs after washing for two times. Additionally, the effect lasts for several weeks following shampoo use and remains stable throughout. After that, I stabilize at around 10–15 hairs.

The shampoo is transparent and incredibly affordable—two coin-sized puddles suffice for a full wash. It has a ginger-like scent to me, and after spending a few minutes massaging my head, it appears to be barely warm.

I’m in love, I’ve already purchased a second one.

Composition:

Aqua, Water, Eau Sodium LauroylSarcosinate, Sodium Olivamphoacetate Tate, Methyl Isethionate, and Sodium Lauroyl Polysorbate 20 Acrylates / C10-30, Alkyl Acrylate, Crosspolymer, and caffeine Oil of Mentha Piperita, Coco-glucoside, hydrolyzed Myrtus Communis leaf extract, Eucalyptus Globulus leaf oil, Trisodium ethylenediamine disuccinate, Disodium Edta, Limonene, Eugenol, Polyquaternium-10, Sodium Hydroxide, Sodium Benzoate, Benzyl Alcohol, fragrance/parfum, CI 19140/Yellow 5, RED 33, CI 17200.

Solu Shampoo Deep Cleansing Shampoo

I made the decision to try GOSH from Davines right away. I try to use deep cleansing shampoos once every two weeks, sometimes even less frequently, to keep my hair looking as fresh as possible. This shampoo cleans well while still being fairly gentle. The amount consumed is still minimal. It manages its work, but it doesn’t perform any magic.)

Composition:

AQUA / WATER / EAU, SODIUM C14-16 OLEFIN SULFONATE, SODIUM LAUROYL METHYL ISETHIONATE, COCAMIDOPROPYL BETAINE, DECYL GLUCOSIDE, SODIUM PCA, SODIUM METHYL 2-SULFOLAURATE, LAURAMIDOPROPYLAMINE OXIDE, GLYCERYL OLEATE, COCO-GLUCOSIDE, PARFUM / FRAGRANCE, DISODIUM COCO-GLUCOSIDE SULFOSUCCINATE, POLYSORBATE 20, BENZYL ALCOHOL, PANTHENOL, SODIUM CHLORIDE, SODIUM BENZOATE, MYRISTAMIDOPROPYLAMINE OXIDE, DISODIUM 2-SULFOLAURATE, CITRIC ACID, POLYQUATERNIUM-7, GUAR HYDROXYPROPYLTRIMONIUM CHLORIDE, TRISODIUM ETHYLENEDIAMINE DISUCCINATE, TETRASODIUM GLUTAMATE DIACETATE, LIMONENE, POLYGONUM FAGOPYRUM SEED EXTRACT, LINALOOL, RED 4, CI 61570, GREEN 5, CI 19140, YELLOW 5, BENZYL SALICYLATE, CITRONELLOL, GERANIOL, CI 14700.

Intensive restorative mask Essential Haircare Nounou

I made an effort to base my care on the traditional pillars of nourishment, restoration, and moisturizing. Once more, I had never used nourishing products before, but it turns out that this is perfect for me (I was really impressed with the Loreal Mythic Oil mask during the summer).

For dry and damaged hair, try this mask made of olive oil, jojoba oil, and tomato extract.

Ingredients:

AQUA / WATER / EAU, GLYCERIN, CETEARYL ALCOHOL, PROPANEDIOL, BEHENTRIMONIUM CHLORIDE, CETRIMONIUM CHLORIDE, CETYL ALCOHOL, DIMETHICONE, GLYCERYL STEARATE, BEHENYL ALCOHOL, BENZOTRIAZOLYL DODECYL P-CRESOL, BEHENETH-25, PARFUM / FRAGRANCE, BENZYL ALCOHOL, SIMMONDSIA CHINENSIS SEED OIL / SIMMONDSIA CHINENSIS (JOJOB A) SEED OIL, OLEA EUROPAEA FRUIT OIL / OLEA EUROPAEA (OLIVE) FRUIT OIL, AMODIMETHICONE, DICAPRYLYL ETHER, LAURYL ALCOHOL, OCTADECYL DI-T-BUTYL-4-HYDROXYHYDROCINNAMATE, HYDROXYETHYLCELLULOSE, DISODIUM EDTA, SODIUM BENZOATE, CITRIC ACID, HYDROGENATED OLIVE OIL, TOCOPHEROL, SOLANUM LYCOPERSICUM FRUIT EXTRACT / SOLANUM LYCOPERS ICUM (TOMATO) FRUIT EXTRACT, SCLEROTIUM GUM, DISILOXANE, LINALOOL, GERANIOL, LIMONENE, CI 19140 / YELLOW 5, CI 14700 / RED 4, CI 61570 / GREEN 5.

I’m all for using oils for hair care. After shampooing, I apply it to towel-dried hair and let it sit for roughly five minutes.

I was expecting a feeling of nourishment and weighting of hair. But I got a feeling of density and as if hair had increased in volume already at the stage of washing off the mask. I do not complain about the thinness of my hair, but such a bright feeling of density really surprised me. No more magic, and especially no visual effect of smoothness / shine. After drying, the hair rather fluffs up, even with the use of leave-in products (this is noticeable compared to my usual hair condition). I use it depending on my mood (rarely), so far this is one of the inexpressive products for me (but it seems to be conditionally useful). I repeat, I was much more impressed by this mask:

Conditioner to prevent breakage Essential Haircare New Melu

This conditioner contains vitamin E and sweet almond and apricot oils for long or damaged hair. It’s odd that the following ingredients, according to the manufacturer, are missing from my view:

Lentil seed extract from Villalba, made in line with the Slow Food Presidium program. Glutamic acid and serine are added to the conditioner recipe. The official Davines website

Ingredients:

Water, Cetearyl Alcohol, Glycerin, Cetrimonium Chloride, Behenyl Alcohol, Behentrimonium Methosulfate, Dimethicone, Cetyl Alcohol, Prunus Amydalus Dulcis Oil (Sweet Almond), Hydrogenated Apricot Kernel Oil, Behentrimonium Chloride, Amodimethicone, Silicon Quaternium 8, Tocopherol (Natural Vitamin E), Benzophenone 4, Potassium Sorbate, Disodium EDTA, Trideceth 12, Cinnamyl Alcohol, Polyquaternium 10, Cyclopentasiloxane, Citric Acid, Isopropyl Alcohol, Benzyl Alcohol, Sodium Benzoate, Blue 1 Lake.

The texture of the conditioner is also intriguing; it resembles plasticine. This is why it needs to be applied to hair that has been thoroughly wrung out of water using rubbing motions. Additionally, give everything a good rinse.

My hair feels more whippy (It feels like I waxed it, but that’s a compliment) but I don’t see a silky waterfall again.

I examined the ingredients on a website that analyzes ingredients, and I found that they are unclear. As long as they don’t put poison on the shelves, I’m generally okay with the ingredients. However, even for rinse-off products, I noticed that there are too many possible allergens.

Essential Haircare New Momo Moisturizing Conditioner

We’ve arrived at my favorite, whoa. Generally speaking, you can tell which products are popular by looking at the post’s title photo.)

The moisturizing conditioner is excellent for dehydrated and dry hair. It has melon extract, panthenol, vitamin E, and jojoba oil.

Ingredients:

AQUA/WATER/EAU, CETEARYL ALCOHOL, GLYCERIN, BEHENYL ALCOHOL, CETRIMONIUM CHLORIDE, BEHENTRIMONIUM CHLORIDE, DIMETHICONE, BENZYL ALCOHOL, PARFUM/FRAGRANCE, SIMMONDSIA CHINENSIS SEED OIL / SIMMONDSIA CHINENSIS (JOJOBA) SEED OIL, LYL ETHER, LAURYL ALCOHOL, PANTHENOL, SODIUM BENZOATE, DISODIUM EDTA, CITRIC ACID, AMODIMETHICONE, TOCOPHEROL, CUCUMIS MELO FRUIT EXTRACT / CUCUMIS MELO (MELON) FRUIT EXTRACT, CI 19140 / YELLOW 5, CI 61570 / GREEN 5, CI 17200 / RED 33.

Its creamy texture is the most liquid of all the ones mentioned above. It goes through the hair with ease. It also rinses out easily, leaving the hair feeling delightfully soft. Trying out a mask from this series right now would be interesting.

Again, nothing magical in the eyes, just a cozy sense.

Naturally, it’s intriguing that there isn’t much of the same smoothing even with silicones present in the mask and conditioners.

Since the girls have already reviewed the OI series here recently, I’m not sure if it’s worth it to write a review here; instead, I hope to write a separate one.
