Description of the manufacturer, composition and method of application

General description:

All hair types undergo cold reconstruction and restoration. You can repair hair that has sustained the greatest amount of damage and restore its elasticity, shine, and strength with this three-stage system. A blend of nutrient-rich components repairs the cuticle and cortex layers of the hair, creating a shield to stop breakage and split ends. Perfect as a pre-procedure for botox reconstruction or keratin straightening.

The manufacturer’s description is highly alluring. Who wouldn’t want to give their hair elasticity and shine in addition to restoration? Additionally, even at home, if the procedure’s profitable cost is considered. The same applies to beauty.

Amino Basic – 1 STEP

Restoring any kind of protein hair base. The composition’s amino acids penetrate the hair more deeply, rebuilding the coatx layers and hydrating and fortifying the hair from the inside out. Suitable as a first step in hair restoration complexes and as a base prior to reconstructive and hair straightening procedures.

Enrichment Mask – 2 STEP

Enriching mask: restores the hydrolypid balance of the hair, feeding it and giving it a robust, elastic texture. The oils enable you to coat the hair with beneficial trace elements and form a protective layer for optimal sealing of hair scales, while the protein composition fills in structural gaps deep within the cortex. The enriching mask can be used for both extra care in conjunction with long-term straightening and hair reconstruction procedures, as well as cold restoration of damaged, brittle, and porous hair.

Leave in membrane – 3 step

A leave-in hair membrane is a liquid complex of nutrient-rich hydrolyzed ingredients that forms a protective layer around the hair to improve and stabilize the effects of restorative masks. The membrane prolongs the benefits of cold restoration procedures, makes combing easier, and keeps hair from becoming dry and brittle from abrupt temperature swings. Hair is rendered three times more flexible, smooth, and shiny. Because the hydrolyzed component composition readily permeates the hair’s deep layers, hair restoration results can be corrected without the need for heated restoration techniques.

Instructions for use:

1. Apply the amino-protein base Amino basic step 1 to hair washed with shampoo and slightly dried with a towel, retreating 1 cm from the roots. Use comb-like movements or a comb with wide teeth to distribute the composition along the entire length of the hair. Do not rinse. Hold for 10-15 minutes.2. Apply the Enrichment mask step 2, stepping back 3-5 cm from the roots. Distribute the mask along the entire length of the hair with comb-like movements of the hands or a comb with wide teeth. Leave the mask on for 15 minutes (for maximum effect, use a hair dryer or a thermal cap). Rinse off the mask with cool water.3. Apply the protective membrane Leave in membrane step 3 to damp, slightly dried hair. Distribute the product along the entire length of the hair, stepping back 3-5 cm from the roots. Comb the hair with comb-like movements or a comb with wide teeth. Dry the hair using warm air.

The directions are very easy to follow and understand. After applying and holding the first composition, apply the second composition and insulate without washing. The fact that an IR iron is not required was another bribe. Ultimately, purchasing this gadget is not the most economical choice, and I don’t really need it for anything else.

Packaging, texture and aroma

I have three 100 ml bottles because I went with the miniature format. The design is simple and appropriate for a salon product; all of the inscriptions are readable. The composition numbers are also very conveniently highlighted in bold, making it impossible for them to get mixed up.

When less than half of the product is left, it might be difficult to remove it from the packaging because it is made of very dense plastic. The bottle doesn’t look nice, and the sticker bubbles when it comes into contact with water are some of the drawbacks.

Every product has a unique texture. The first stage is the lightest, almost milky, but it spreads easily over the hair and does not flow when applied. The second stage resembles a standard mask texture, but it is denser. And because the third stage is the densest—much like a typical leave-in cream—it is also the most cost-effective.

The scent is typical of a salon. The notes are very hard to make out, but I smell something fruity and floral. subtle, unobtrusive scent that leaves hair feeling refreshed.

My impressions

Using any of the three products is quite light. The procedure itself takes a long time, but there are no problems. Apply the first composition, let it sit with a thermal cap, and then rinse. You don’t want to carry out similar tasks each week. For this reason, I was hoping for a wow effect to make my hair look salon-quality. I wanted my hair to be thick, nourished, and incredibly shiny.

First use

After dying, I made the decision to give the process a try for the first time. My hair is now in need of more intensive care, and I’ve determined that by keeping it "stripped," I can better monitor the effects on my hair.

Before washing everything off, I let my hair cool for five minutes after applying the first composition for fifteen minutes and the second composition for twenty minutes under a thermal cap. As I’m rinsing, the hair already feels more manageable, streamlined, and flowing. Not exactly wow, but I was worried that I wouldn’t be able to comb my hair at all after using a multipurpose mask.

I used a towel to apply the membrane to my towel-dried hair. I also used Kérastase Ciment thermal care and self-insurance to ensure dependable protection from extreme heat. I observed that it took me longer to dry my hair after I started using a hairdryer. This usually occurs to me when my hair is well-moisturized, following a good moisturizing mask. I could not get the back of my head to dry for a very long time.

The hair became softer, smoother, and more elastic after styling. A "lot of hair" effect was present, particularly to the touch. However, the miracle did not materialize; instead, the ends broke and it was apparent that they were not given enough attention.

Although the ends of the canvas appear to be pointing in different directions in the picture, the canvas is smoother along its length. Naturally, I would prefer a more refined outcome, akin to that of a salon procedure. I will, however, be repeating the procedure in a week because I have concluded that one procedure is insufficient for my long-suffering hair.

Second use

I applied and did not alter the compositions from the initial use. I knew I wouldn’t like the image even before I started the rinsing process. There was no "seaweed" effect, and the hair did not soften. If I thought there was an effect and it wasn’t too bad after the first use, then my hair was completely lacking after the second use. There was no sensation of nourished, moisturized hair. My hair creaked, and even when wet, I could feel the lack of moisture.

My hair lay just as I had imagined it would after styling. There was still shine and the appearance of "lots of hair," even though the frieze had not been smoothed and the ends were dry. However, there was no slickness or effortless comb-through of the hair. It didn’t seem to get better, but it also didn’t seem to get worse.

To summarize

My opinions regarding the procedure are highly debatable. Maybe I had high expectations for these jars. Even so, my hair was severely broken and extremely damaged at the time of use.

However, there are still a few benefits:

  1. Miniature format. It is very convenient that you can buy small volumes to try, this amount is enough to evaluate the product and understand whether it is worth buying full sizes. Also, miniatures are more budget-friendly.
  2. Shine. Getting shine on blondes is not an easy task and I often choose products that promise it.

However, I discovered additional drawbacks:

  1. Does not make combing easier. After the procedure, I expected the comb to glide over the hair, but alas, it skidded very badly.
  2. Does not make the hair soft. After the second use, dryness and stiffness of the hair was very noticeable.
  3. Does not work with brittleness. Since at that time I was trying to fight brittleness, I was looking for products that promise restoration. And here, too, alas, bypassed, brittleness was increased.

However, I wasn’t overly disappointed that the product didn’t fit me despite these drawbacks. Since I already had a functional set of products at that point that provided everything I needed in the shortest amount of time. Naturally, these are my favorite Kérastase pairs, and I wrote a separate post about them that you can read here.

Experiment

Recalling Kera’s post about this process, I was perplexed as to why her products seemed to work so well, even though they were, in my opinion, quite average. I gave it some thought and realized that my hair was the cause, as I had severely damaged powder hair at the time.

I also advised my friend to try these products for the experiment. Her opinion regarding the products piqued my interest, as she performs molecular restoration procedures in the salon and finds them to be quite enjoyable.

The hair is incredibly nourished and moisturized, with a texture akin to that of baby hair, but not thin. The comb simply runs through the hair.

The process of molecular restoration falls under the cold category. Hair reconstruction is accomplished with the help of two compositions and an IF iron.

  • Dyed with super blond.
  • Thick and dense hair, the circumference of the lower tail is 8 cm.
  • Regularly undergoes the keratin straightening procedure.

However, the canvas was no longer as smooth, the comb was a little "slipping" when combing, and the keratin straightening had almost entirely disappeared from the hair at the time of using cold restoration.

I therefore started to wait for feedback after being given a set for the procedure and being instructed on how to do it step by step. The brief wait ended with a discussion about the procedure over a cup of coffee.

Like me, my friend disliked the process. The process takes a long time, and the results are very average. The hair does not feel at all restored, is a little stiff, and is malnourished. For instance, even though the products are in the same price range, my friend really enjoys Tefia Ambient Service Lipid Mask for Damaged Hair pH 4.5 and the results from it are far more noticeable than from cold restoration.

Naturally, I was curious to examine the hair with my hands. And you can feel the difference right away. Following the salon treatment, the hair is silky smooth, with silky strands that easily slide between the fingers. Furthermore, the hair is far rougher, stiffer, and more like fishing line after Malecula.
