Consistency and application

Shampoo from baobab has a traditional consistency. open and honest. Gel. And very cost-effective! I think this is the most affordable shampoo I’ve ever used. The type of my scalp is normal. a wash cycle once every two days. I only need to use one application of this shampoo. Use is similar to applying silicone serum to hair ends—just a few drops are needed.

Dispenser with a dic-top. Even with 50% recycled plastic and eco-production, the cap is robust. snaps firmly. Both during delivery and during use, the shampoo remained leak-free. The bottle is thick in and of itself. The texture is liquid, making removal simple. It is not necessary to apply pressure to the bottle’s walls.

I start by putting the shampoo on my palm. Pour in some water. Make a lather. After that, apply it to your damp scalp. It forms a robust, rich foam. It doesn’t flow down the length, which I like. I don’t make a lot of lather. With lots of running water, the foam is quickly removed.

Cleans up until it’s perfect. does not cause tangles in hair. does not lead to electrification or dry ends.

I use silicone serum on the ends and a mask from the same series as a supplement to washing with this shampoo.

Result

Not for occasional use, nor for frequent use. When sebum, which provides natural protection, is removed, the skin becomes dehydrated and produces twice as much sebum.

Every sulfate shampoo I’ve tried recently produced the same outcome as seen in the above picture. The head looks like this two days after washing.

How to use

It is advised by the manufacturer to let the foamy shampoo sit on your head for a few minutes. A risky notion. I once skipped washing and chose to use Joc shampoo twice to lather my hair. I am unable to incorporate Joc shampoo into my daily regimen, though. This cleanser is too strong for my scalp. The equilibrium is thrown off, and the skin becomes greasy. In such circumstances, I changed to washing my hair every day. And after that, even for a day, the freshness was insufficient! Sebum thickened. The feeling of dirty hair is absent. In contrast, it undergoes extensive washing.

This is a characteristic of my scalp, not a problem with this shampoo. In the same time frame, I made an effort to achieve equilibrium by switching to a different shampoo—a particular one that controls sebum. However, it also has sulfate in it. The Joc mask is what I’ve always used as conditioner. I only used it for five to ten minutes at a time. I didn’t wrap my head in anything or use any heat source. It quickly washes out of my hair. This is where we can talk about the glycerin at the top of the ingredient list and the 90% air humidity level, which is when I really used the mask. Theoretically, excessive moisturizing should have resolved my porous hair, but that did not occur. Not even once. Nothing noteworthy caught my attention while the mask was being cared for. However, after realizing after two uses how well it worked for restoration, I opened the Hask conditioner with biotin to replace it when it ran out.

In order to avoid wearing masks too frequently, I deliberately did two consecutive washes with Hask. It was still fine the first time. The ends blend in seamlessly with the main length, being smooth and silky. Following the second time, there is less obedience, prickliness, and ends that resemble wire. When you touch the girth of the hair, you can feel the transition from the healthy to the worn-out portion of the length. This was not the case with the Joc mask.

Lighting is very important. For these pictures, I made an effort to create the same atmosphere. The Barex mask is on the left. It’s the Hask conditioner on the right. The hair is combed and naturally dried in both situations.

The Joc Care mask repairs damaged hair structure and is worth the money, despite giving the appearance of lightness.

This is the best possible conditioning that has a mildly restorative effect. It will feel different when applied to damaged hair, but it won’t give healthy hair any more elasticity or density. It won’t add weight to fine hair. Still, it will feel light and smooth on your gorgeous, porous hair. Strands will become more friable, bright, and shiny as a result.

I found it particularly helpful that the mask didn’t interfere with the effects of other products during this time. Additionally, I could see their new conditions on my hair. Since I was evaluating the effects of oil and herbs rather than synthetic cosmetics, I included the mask in the wrapping process. It also made sense to me that this was the result of a home remedy because the Joc mask neither increases density nor weight.

There is no discernible style memory in the Barex mask. However, it also doesn’t stop waves from forming in hair after a braid. They are not very durable. You can add a leave-in product that has this feature to the treatment to increase its durability. Alfaparf cream is good.
